It was a comfortable stay in a good sized room and reasonably priced, and overall very enjoyable, and a great location for parking and seeing Salisbury city centre

I know Salisbury quite well and I love it. I always go to the Hawk conservancy not far in Weyhill and have done so for the last 40 years and of course the cathedral. I was lucky enough to go to a Carol service at Christmas it was absolutely magical. Wiltshire is a beautiful county.

My first trip to Salisbury and it is a great location for a mini holiday. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and so many visitor attractions. The pride of place has to be the Cathedral. Take a guided tour and learn so much about its history.

Beautiful city, lot's to see.
Beautiful city, lot's to see. A four night stay gave me ample time to relax and enjoy
my time with one full day and a half day upon arrival and another upon leaving within Salisbury.
I had two day trips to other towns /cities during my stay.
I particularly value not rushing!

I loved the setting the fast moving Mill river the river with ducks kayakers even swimmers brrrr. The view of the cathedral the idyllic village with thatched cottages very English and the near by park.
The historic building and the brief concise crib sheet telling its history even a local ghost
I felt I had landed in a Miss Marple village.

We enjoyed Salisbury Cathedral.
We enjoyed Salisbury Cathedral. Matins and Evensong were wonderful experiences. There was a nearby pharmacy which was useful, and lovely shops down Fish Row. Also Thomas Becket Church. Salisbury was central to other sites we wanted to see, such as Bath, Wells Cathedral, Stonehenge, and Avesbury.
The location is fabulous, of course it is a 1.000 year old building so when you are taler than 1.85 you have to take care of your head on some places. The team is very kind, especially Izzy does a great job.
It is a very clean hotel and from the hotel/restaurant you can walk easily to the city centre of Salisbury.
Chef Tobias has a high added value to the entire establishment. Compliments!
Location is very close to the city centre in Salisbury making it very easy to explore that wonderful city. Nearby are some exceptional restaurants and the breakfast in the hotel was one of the best continental breakfast boards I have seen. No lift in the hotel but the staff carried our luggage up to the room and were very helpful.
It was conveniently located near the train station. 15 minutes walk to the cathedral, passing along the river through parks and the old town, past pubs and shops. It was spacious and clean, very comfortable, a breath of fresh air after having seen the previous nights at a fairly shabby hotel in Newcastle.
The hotel is a pleasant 15 minutes walk from Cathedral /city centre The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were treated to a complimentary drink at the bar and made use of the free shuttle into Salisbury in the evening. Room was very comfy and breakfast was fantastic.
