For a very last minute booking, the room was very comfortable and in a great location. Staff was lovely, spoke to Lydia for access to the property as we were staying on the days the pub wasn’t open. Lydia was very helpful when we had questions or any issues also. Lydia also surprised us with a fan for our second night which was very much appreciated as it was like a sauna in the room due to the high temperatures we’re experiencing at the moment.

Amazing stay! Room was lovely and clean. Friendly staff. The owner fed the peacock ducks and chickens whilst we had breakfast it made my son's morning. Will definitely be booking again.

Well located and car park outside. Perfect host, felt like nothing would have been a trouble. Breakfast in our room was more than we could manage and delicious! Very cosy room and our own little garden with views to the church and park.

A beautifully decorated two bedroom spacious house. It was clear to see that the host had thought about everything to give their guests the most comfortable and easy stay. The kitchen was well kitted out and even had an air fryer. The host had even left a few welcome gifts which were a lovely touch. The only thing to mention are the stairs are quite steep (there is a banister) so not ideal if you have people in your party with mobility issues.
The house is located slap bang in the centre of Hornsea, but located on a really quiet street and is a short walk to the shops and about a 5 minute walk to the sea front (if you have a disabled badge there is plenty of parking on the sea front).
We went to the Victoria pub which is just over the road for a meal which was lovely.
19 km from Hull New Theatre, Carlton Manor Pods is a recently renovated property set in Aldbrough and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.

The property was very clean and cozy and felt homely
Staff were very friendly and food was good .
Garden view room had no garden view - just two pots filled with weeds on the roof - though lovely outlook across the road .
The balcony room - the lights didn’t work on the balcony - and again pots filled with weeds . Room size good , bathrobes / hair dryer etc provided . The only real downfall was staff talking in the pub until about 3am Saturday evening - so didn’t get much sleep ! The staff were extremely friendly and food good .
