Spacious apartment for two people. Perfect place to stay in Mundesley if you're looking for somewhere less than 10 minutes walk from both the beach and the high street. Also having Tesco just around the corner helps!

Shower was impossible for me to use and the water did not come out hardly at all. The wash basin was the same. Coffee was weak and cold. Breakfast was an obstacle course for me as I walk badly. You had to go from one room to another to get different parts of your breakfast. Very dangerous stairs for older people. No information to me, even though I asked 3 times about pets. Then in a telephone call the last late afternoon I was told I had to pay £16 a night for the cat. I was also threatened in a very nasty tone, that I would be fined £100, if I smoke in the hotel, and I'm a non smoker. My partner smokes, but he went outside about quarter of a mile away on the main road, where this man had seen him many times. Thoroughly distasteful, and wrong. The whole place was abandoned after 3pm. They tried to make themselves look good, but they were doing things on the cheap, as they needed more staff.

A great place to see North Norfolk and the Broads from.
A great place to see North Norfolk and the Broads from. Great Yarmouth beach is not far and Cromer is even closer - such a pescatarian’s dream - the legendary Cromer crab through to the catch of the day - the fish options do not disappoint. We had a spa treatment - facial (Neal’s Yard) and back massage (Decleor) at The Pigs - great upmarket eatery and spa hotel which caters for every dietary requirement - lovely enthusiastic staff too - would go back for that, the fish and the fresh air! Also have lunch or afternoon tea at The Beechwood Hotel - just wonderful service with a garden and snacks/nibbles with sparkling wine before your gourmet meal - loved it! Overall, would definitely recommend 😊

North Waltham offers tranquil surroundings.
North Waltham offers tranquil surroundings. Many beaches in close proximity. Country feel with a touch of modernity. Laid back atmosphere. Clean air and surroundings. Good place to enjoy outdoors, hike, fish and just take nature in.
There are many eating places from restaurants to cafés all dotted everywhere. We had fine dining at Labone restaurant- an Indian restaurant where we rated food and staff at a high score.
The whole experience was enjoyable , my partner is a musician and we stay in a lot of hotels in England and Europe , i can honestly say Scarborough Lodge was one of the nicest places i have stayed for quite a while ( especially in England ) The room was lovely , all the little extra touches ie hot chocolate and lovely biscuits in our room, the soaps , body lotions , shampoo etc in the bathroom were exceptional . The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the hostess was very accommodating
The apartment was a lovely apartment in a safe and clean area in North Walsham. It was well equipped and very clean and it was nice to have enough hangers etc in the wardrobes which is often not the case! Craig, was very good with his communication and sggestions on places to eat which helped. My "judgement" on whether somewhere was good enough is would I return and I most definitely would.
A great mix between a hotel and a B&B it is a separate annex so you have your own private access so you can come and go as you please, with your own bathroom you also have extra privacy. The addition of two comfy chairs and a good size table also allows you to work or eat your meal in comfort etc. A little home in one, you even get breakfast delivered to your door.
For us visiting family and knowing the area Tenison house is in a great location just off the main market street of North Walsham. The house is a great size, we travelled with our 2 teenage children so having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was a rare treat! The house was very clean, has all you need and in the middle of a wet December very warm.
Friendly and comfortable room. A real bonus was a private and separate room with sofa and TV. ie It was more like a typical Air BnB. Breakfast was self help and basic, but fine and at no fixed time. 15 minute walk into North Walsham shops otherwise need a car for anything else, including Cromer about 20/25 minutes away.
The hotel and setting is beautiful - only reason that I would make a comment is that breakfast starts at 8.30 am - there was no breakfast times on booking, com - so I did miss breakfast both days - however amazing value and would definitely book again
Excellent value for money. Comfortable. Has all you need for a short stay/overniighter.Great location for many of Norfolk's attractions and the benefit of a fantastic bistro just round the corner too
What a lovely hotel! So well decorated and comfortable. Great room and bathroom, wonderful breakfast and charming staff. Spacious grounds and peaceful location. Highly recommended.
I was visiting an elderly Aunt in North Walsham and the location was great for us. The property was lovely and warm and the beds comfortable. The location was also very quiet.
Totally beautiful hotel and grounds. Room decor fantastic, terrific bathroom.
Room facilities and toiletries spot on.
Breakfast was delicious and the service faultless.
