Nice pub, but no food or breakfast, which considering the price paid I did not consider good value for money & a lack of food venues in the village or local area no good.
Located in Hemswell, 23 km from Lincoln University, Hemswell Court provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

We were in the area walking and stayed in Market Rasen as it was the nearest town. The surrounding area and villages (Tealby and Walesby to name two) are beautiful and there are some great walks nearby. The Wolds Edge farm shop and cafe is superb. The Aston Arms in Market Rasen is a proper old fashioned pub with proper home cooked food.

A Lincolnshire market town.
A Lincolnshire market town.
Plenty of facilities but it seems to have had it`s soul destroyed.
Probably due to the car and people wanting to move to the cities.
Would`ve been full of life in it`s day.
The eateries and pubs are trying their best, but the town seems to be dying, such a shame, this is my impression, I hope I`m wrong, but this is how it feels, I don`t know what it is like on race day though.
A lovely town on the whole though, same as many other rural towns and villages.

The visit was primarily to see old friend.
The visit was primarily to see old friend. Needed overnight stay after 4 hour drive + visit. The Olive did exactly what it said on the tin.
It was made perfectly clear that no food provision included merely tea/coffee facility

We attended Market Rasen for a horse racing fixture.
We attended Market Rasen for a horse racing fixture. We have been many times and find the market town great for a lunchtime visit with plenty of pubs and coffee shops. Having stayed in accommodation in the town previously found it too noisy at night and this time stayed a few miles away. Have been to the town evening eateries and not the best of food so this time went self catering.

The only thing we really liked about Market Rasen was The Advocate Arms. Very few eateries, an assortment of independent shops all situated on a very busy main road. Amazing amount of large agricultural vehicles and lorries speeding along a narrow main road. The town looks tired.
Spacious, very well appointed accommodation. Easy car access and parking.
Great location for exploring the Lincolnshire wold, Lincoln city and other attractions including the coast.
Market Rasen has all essential facilities, including cafes and dining within easy walking distance as well as walks from the doorstep along the well marked Lincolnshire footpaths. Highly recommended!
Great location and lovely and clean with great facilities. Comfy beds and nice bath / shower etc. Close to walk to town and also to Market Rasen racetrack which was a great day out with the family. Instructions clear from the host with great communication. Also nice Fish and Chips at the end of the road a bonus!
Clean and tidy property, with everything we needed as a party of 6. Close to all the shops Market Rasen had to offer. Host was exceptionally responsive to messages, phoned prior to arrival to ensure everything would be set up how we wanted it, and sorted issues quickly. Would be happy to stay here again.
Great location, close to both Market Rasen and Louth. Good for exploring the county of Lincolnshire. The owners of the property are delightful and are happy to show you around their grounds, introduce you to the animals and generally help with whatever you need.
The house is beautifully decorated, it is in a very quiet no through road , so very restful and peaceful. Has most amenities you would need , also has parking which is excellent. Very close to the town and an easy walk to the racecourse
Good communication by Host before arrival. Personal and attentive greeting at the door. Spotlessly clean room in portion of Host's home. Ridiculously cheap accommodation, perfect for a night or two.
Lovely greeting from the owner on arrival. Made us aware of local eateries.
Very stylish accommodation, lovely and warm, spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Great location close to Market Rasen.
