The Griffin was a really nice place to stay, the room was spacious and the bed very comfy, we stayed on a Saturday night so got to experience the late night disco, but we went to bed about 11.30pm and although it stays on till 2am it did not keep us awake the doormen were good at making sure everyone vacated the beer garden at 11pm so as not to disturb the guests. The place had a really nice feel about it and we felt welcome, I would happily stay here again.

It was perfect for what we wanted.
It was planned that we would not arrive till late, 20.30 and needed to leave at 07.00 the next morning.
The little radiator had been put on before we arrived, so it was lovely and cozy as we walked in. The towels were clean and the bed was soft. There were tea and coffee facilities and the shower did its job.
Yes it was small but that's all we needed for less than a 12hr stay.

Clean and tidy.Self contained. Great for self catering.Every thing we needed. Clear instructions for entry. Access to outside space. Complimentary provisions to get you started. I did like the compact nature and privacy of the Snug, but my larger husband felt constrained.
Over all I would recommend.
Around 30 minutes’ drive from Peterborough and King’s Lynn, Oliver Twist Country Inn offers high-quality rooms, and a wide-ranging menu at its informal restaurant.

To far from Cambridge and Ely, we couldn’t find a nice restaurant for our anniversary dinner, there are plenty of places to eat but these are mainly takeout places or pubs with basic pub food. We had booked a room for 3 nights at the causeway guest house but only stayed for 2 due to the damp in the room.
I wouldn’t recommend March

March town centre was in upheaval due to repaving etc so was not at its best so can’t comment, however I’d like to return to explore. A good base from which to visit other places of interest, we had a marvellous day out in King’s Lynn and would have happily stayed longer to visit other places. Our accommodation, The Causeway Guest House, provided the perfect base being comfortable, hospitable and excellent value.

Ive never been here before and was suprised how big March was, lots of lovely little shops I'd like to go back and explore.
The place we stayed was really comfortable and friendly.
If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed.
Very convenient location good close parking and good value for money have stayed many times before and will continue to do so as very often in the area. Would be nice to have a phone number to talk to them direct rather then go through booking agent as getting twin rooms can be a bit of problem or thou talking to the hotel manager when you arrive it's generally not a problem.
The room was excellent very clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was superb with a wide selection including the best porridge I’ve had in a hotel or guest house plus an added bonus of bananas. The owner waited on at breakfast and nothing was too much trouble….thank you!
it’s an old pub on the main thoroughfare in March. it’s great for pub food, showing the football. staff wee welcoming n breakfast was hearty English. all to like. hotel was dog friendly.
The hosts were absolutely delightful, the snug was clean comfortable and great value for money. Will definatly be looking to stay with them again when I travel down to march.
