The host was very friendly and welcoming. A perfectly cooked breakfast was delivered to enjoy in your room at no extra charge. Little touches like fresh milk rather than UHT. The garden is extensive. WiFi was good and allowed me to conduct a number of video calls.

Oliver Twist Country Inn, hotel in March

Around 30 minutes’ drive from Peterborough and King’s Lynn, Oliver Twist Country Inn offers high-quality rooms, and a wide-ranging menu at its informal restaurant.

The rooms were great and spotless. I was checked in by a very polite, lovely young lady who then, along with her colleague, really looked after me when i went for dinner. The service was excellent. And the food was top class in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast

Lovely warm comfortable room, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was superb, quality of the bacon and sausage was excellent .. along with all the other items on the breakfast, even had the choice of of small, medium and large, NEVER had this choice at any other B&B, the staff were lovely, from start to finish. Will definitely be staying there again, with no hesitation!…Thank you !!

To far from Cambridge and Ely, we couldn’t find a nice restaurant for our anniversary dinner, there are plenty of places to eat but these are mainly takeout places or pubs with basic pub food. We had booked a room for 3 nights at the causeway guest house but only stayed for 2 due to the damp in the room. I wouldn’t recommend March

March town centre was in upheaval due to repaving etc so was not at its best so can’t comment, however I’d like to return to explore. A good base from which to visit other places of interest, we had a marvellous day out in King’s Lynn and would have happily stayed longer to visit other places. Our accommodation, The Causeway Guest House, provided the perfect base being comfortable, hospitable and excellent value.

We stayed down here due to an early skydive, we arrived around 19:15 the night before and left at 6am the next morning. Although our stay was short it was really nice and cozy, staff member was friendly and helpful and extremely polite.

We came to see family mostly but there is plenty of places to to eat & drink. Plenty of places around March to visit that's around, for couples & families that's a 30min - 1.half hour away in car & further if you don't mind travelling. Good base to explore

Ive never been here before and was suprised how big March was, lots of lovely little shops I'd like to go back and explore. The place we stayed was really comfortable and friendly. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed.

Breakfast was brought to our room at the arranged time and was exactly as ordered and plentiful. The room was perfectly adequate for our 2 night stay and was clean and quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had our own patio area but didn't get round to using it and felt we could have used the garden area more if we had have stayed longer. The location was good for us to be able to drive to visit places and was a steady half hour stroll away from March town so I could have a couple of beers over a meal without driving.

We stayed here for the weekend whilst visiting family. Everything about this place was perfect. Location was central to March, the bungalow was modern, well equipped with everything you need, the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and the bed was super comfy! In March itself you have access to lovely walks along the river Nene, lots of eateries and/or supermarkets if you wish to cook yourself. Our stay was perfect in every way! Quiet location on edge of March, surrounded by fenland but within reach of rail station. Apartment 2 had its own outdoor seating area. Spacious living room and kitchen. Fresh milk provided. Nice and warm. (It was unseasonably cold) I was only here for one night but it would be a good place to return to after busy days sightseeing and exploring.

Didn’t get to stay at the property as I was double booked after travelling 5 hours I then had to find another place to stay at 10:30pm and still no refund so I’m out of pocket too - I was lucky enough to find a hotel however everywhere was fully booked up so thank goodness for the hotel that saved us !

Didn’t realise Weatherspoons did hotels until this location. I also didn’t expect the lovely quality of the room. It was really a very pleasant surprise. Hotels with names charge so much more for rooms of lower quality.
