The pods were delightful, featuring a cozy hot tub outdoors. Inside, you’ll find just the essentials: a fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave. It’s perfect for a brief stay, but for longer visits, plan accordingly. We also dined at the George and Dragon, which is under the same ownership. The meal was very nice, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming.
Overlooking the River Bure, this black-and-white timbered lodge offers a cosy pub with seasonally inspired food. The Southern Comfort paddle boat is moored just outside the property.

This was our second vist to the Lodden Swan. Pretty location, well positioned for sightseeing in the the surrounding area, as well as Norwich and the coast.
Friendly staff, spacious, clean and comfortable room.
Bar and dining area comfortable and nicely presented. Good selection of hot and cold choices for breakfast, which we would recommend.
Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

The location was a little out of the way but not an issue. The hotel, the grounds, the room, the public areas, the bar, everything about it was absolutely lovely. A great atmosphere, everywhere was well decorated, clean, inviting, comfortable. The staff were amazing, so helpful, courteous, friendly, always there when you needed someone but not hovering around all the time. The food in the restaurant was delicious, great variety and freshly cooked and well sized portions. Breakfast was incredibly good value for money, with quality produce. Fantastic overnight stay and will definitely stay again. I can imagine in the summer, sitting outside with a long cool drink!

Roadworks on main road so dfficult to find way off main road to property. We ate out as the kitchen was so dirty. Lots of floods around the area. We will not go again.
No. 4. We wouldn't recommend Lingwood for anything.

Lingwood is actually quite a handy destination for the broads as crossing over the a47 leads you to panxworth/ranworth area. As an ex local, I would wholly advise taking EXTRA caution taking any turnings from the a47 into the village as they are notoriously bad and there have been accidents. It can seem like you’re never going to get across but please do be patient and you will get that gap you’re waiting for rather than scooting across 2 lanes of fast flowing traffic.

Lovely spacious property and great for our family.
Lovely spacious property and great for our family. Did not like that they had a curfew at 9pm for loud music or noise as we have two boisterous boys.
We had to drive for 20 minutes or more to Great Yarmouth or others areas to find places to eat in town. Need to have a car to get around as we’re not sure if local buses go to this area.

This was a really good value stay., clean and comfortable.
This was a really good value stay., clean and comfortable. We were going into Norwich house hunting and coming back to the peace and quiet each evening was very welcome. There is a fully stocked kitchen with a seating area which means that for longer stays you could either cook or bring back a takeaway and not be forced to eat in your room.
The only thing we would say is that there was not much in the way of food/drink available in the immediate area and you very much need your own transport to get around. Due to our schedule we didn't investigate buses but you are a long way from a main road so probably unlikely.

Sadly, the place was not very clean.
Sadly, the place was not very clean. The worktop surface was sticky, the tea towel was stained, the bath towels had musty smell to it and spiders appear to be everywhere. In addition, the spring in one of the beds was protruding that it was so uncomfortable to sleep in. We also didn't have any hot water to have a shower in the evening. We asked Tony the following morning to see if he could fixed it and the reply was that the heating system was different to the main house and was therefore not able to help us. Overall, we did not enjoy our stay and would certainly not be returning back.
I loved this place! It was like a home away from home. The bedroom was spacious, clean and the bathroom lovely. The hotel itself is a little dated, but for me this added character and only enhanced the overall experience. It was lovely waking up to a splendid view. The train station and local shop is only a short walk away and it was very quiet. Catherine that Cat was a welcome resident and the horses also lovely. Very much enjoyed my stay and hope to return again.
We had a fantastic break at Lingwood Hall. The landlord is a very kind lady who kindly welcomed us at our arrival and showed us the horses. Our cottage was clean and tidy and had a view on the horses, the swimming pool and tennis court. Breakfast in the sunshine watching the horses was exceptional. The option to play tennis with the children was wonderful. It is also a great base to go to the beach. Great Yarmouth and surrounding beaches only 20min away.
Short stay at Lingwood was a great choice. We were super happy with the accommodation. We had to book after previous booking cancelled at short notice and anything on the coast was nit accepting dogs. We were fortunate to get some time here and it was perfect for our first trip away together. Good location as a base to explore and was spacious, well furnished, good facilities in the kitchen and comfortable. Thank you !!
Initially I booked a big room in the house, but called ahead to ask for a desk and was moved to studio room in garden, which was fine. Host was very helpful and accommodating. This isn’t a hotel stay, so that wasn’t my expectation. It was very reasonably priced for homely accommodation in the countryside - just what it’s advertised as. Thanks for a nice stay, overall very peaceful :)
Room size, location, peaceful, quiet, good views, facilities such as a full sized sink and refrigerator, cooking rings, utensils, microwave, toaster, kettle, air dryer, iron, ironing board, TV, seating, en-suite and our hostess provided a room heater as the boiler was being serviced. Lingwood Hall was a first in relation to the type of accomodation with self catering facilities.
Perfect for our friends wedding at lingwood church.
I was worried after reading the reviews, so pleasantly surprised when we arrived.
Beds were comfortable, though the bedding was cheap & well used it was clean.
Room was clean with small fridge which was very useful.
I liked the shared kitchen facilities.
Great that dogs are welcome.
Lingwood is a good location being in between Great Yarmouth and Norwich.
Lingwood Hall is a beautiful, old building. The rooms are a good size and exceptionally clean. The outdoor swimming pool was heated to 30 degrees and was lovely to relax in.
