The Shepherd's Hut was an unusual option for a business overnight, but it proved to be a very pleasant experience. Fantastic email communication from the hosts in advance made the arrival and departure as easy and flexible as it could possibly be. The property itself was warm, the small kitchenette was very convenient, the shower was hot and powerful, the bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was superb (280Mbps). Overall, a very positive experience.

Arrived in the dark so didn't see the village of Kilsby but I did notice there was a pub and community shop just across the road which will be useful. We only stayed one night as a stopover on way to a funeral in Dunchurch the following morning

A lovely spacious room, the owners had thought of everything, some really nice extra touches too. The premises were pristine. We had guidance from the owner, contact number and essential and local information was also at hand to refer to.

Kilsby is a village with a wonderful local feel. The WI have spent a long time knitting "scarecrows" which are arranged in scenes through the village, including sheep on the green! So lovely, I hope they remain there a long time they are well worth a sightseeing trip. There are several places to stay locally and I am glad I picked the Red Lion. It's just along the A5 and with easy access. Fab.
