The house was lovely. It's in a slightly odd location as not surrounded by any other houses, but has great character.
Our room has a picnic hamper with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and wine glasses.
The bed was really comfy. The bathroom was huge and really nice and there was a basket of toiletries.
It was just a 2 min walk to Greggs to get breakfast.
We liked the garden.
Communication with the owner was great. We needed a late check in and they left a key for us with clear instructions. They sent a text message which gave us their number and were quick to respond.
We are likely to be visiting the area a few times in the next few years and would definitely stay again and would request the same room. It was brilliant.

The location is great. Very close to the freeman hospital which is where I was visiting. Lots of nice bars, restaurants and shops in the area within a few minutes walk.

Fantastic host, magnificent breakfast, great wifi, the room had all my basic needs. The location was great, just a 2-3 min walk to the bus stop and easy access into Gateshead / Newcastle. The area was peaceful and quiet. I especially was glad to be able to park my car around the corner on the side of the hotel, and leave it there for the 3 days I was staying at the hotel.

A nice compact little centre within the metro-area of Tyne and Wear, not much to see and do within Jarrow but easy to get to South Shields beaches and good road links to go further.
Some nice Viking sculpture and a few pretty buildings. I wasn’t about for long but it felt safe. A decent location to explore the wider area within the great north east.
