A nice compact little centre within the metro-area of Tyne...

A nice compact little centre within the metro-area of Tyne and Wear, not much to see and do within Jarrow but easy to get to South Shields beaches and good road links to go further. Some nice Viking sculpture and a few pretty buildings. I wasn’t about for long but it felt safe. A decent location to explore the wider area within the great north east.
