Red Lion Coaching Inn, hotel in Grayingham

Set in Redbourne, 32 km from Lincoln University, Red Lion Coaching Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

The Red Lion is a well presented gastro-pub with rooms. The rooms are simple and good value. The kitchen is excellent and the bar well stocked with local real ale as well as wine. Food is reasonably priced - specials at £17 - £22 and good value. Very nice breakfast menu. If you need or prefer non-dairy milk it's probably advisable to specify when booking. The staff were delightful and friendly. We went on a Saturday and there appeared to be a lot of locals eating, as well as a wedding going on, but we still felt we received good individual attention. It's slightly off the beaten track in North Lincolnshire but easily accessible to local main roads.

Garden Room, hotel in Grayingham

Garden Room, a property with a garden, is situated in Kirton in Lindsey, 49 km from Clumber Park, 30 km from Lincoln Medieval Bishops' Palace, as well as 44 km from KCOM Stadium.

This property is perfect for exploring the area around Kirton in Lindsey . We booked because we had organised a reunion at the local flying club so it was the perfect location for us to access the gliding club but also to walk into the village for local shops, pubs and restaurants . The room was extremely clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed . It was so good we have already booked to stay again in the summer to take advantage of the patio area , catch up with friends and explore some walking routes in addition to my husband having an excuse to go and fly 😁 perfect hosts who informed us very clearly and accurately how to access the property. Highly recommended and worth the nightly rate. Free parking in the lay-by adjacent was perfect too. Would also recommend The George Pub and Shimla Spice both just around the corner .

Fantastic period property sympathetically restored and retains a lot of original features. Set in wonderful peaceful surroundings with lovely gardens and views over the Lincolnshire Wolds. Our hosts were fabulous and dedicated to their passion for the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and airy with excellent fixtures and fittings. A truly beautiful and peaceful place

The George Hotel, hotel in Grayingham

Featuring an on-site bar and restaurant, The George is located in Kirton-in-Lindsey and offers 4-star accommodation in an old coaching inn that dates back to the 17th Century.

The place was in a good location as it was quiet and there was loads of parking out the front. The place its self was lovely, nicely decorated and the staff were welcoming. My room was nicely decorated and seemed to be clean. It did have a bath tub and a shower you could hold to have a shower which is annoying but first world problems!

The house is fancy and the hosts are super charming and friendly. The bathroom is awesome, and there's a top-line market just in front, with a restaurant inside. But come with your car, or rent a car locally well in advance, for it's difficult to get transportation there.
