The bed was so comfortable, I don't think I'll ever sleep in better! Great breakfast selection. Location is superb and staff are friendly. Lots of stairs but luckily the team helped with my luggage.

The Compass Inn is very handy being close to the M4. It is set in lovely grounds which are well kept. The accommodation is comfortable although a bit tiered in places. The restaurant food and breakfast were to a good standard.

this Inn was in the smallest village we visited.. We had a comfortable room over the pub which was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom was a good size and clean.the breakfast room was easily reached and had good offerings.

Lovely green countryside, beautiful villages you go through, Colerne was lovely and friendly residents. The local pubs were nice. Avoid the really narrow streets though - try and make sure you go via the main roads where possible.
I couldn’t fault this hotel, it is absolutely beautiful and I’ve never been anywhere like this before. The grounds are lovely and because they are so big, it does feel like you’ve got a real hideaway from day to day life
Spa was incredible, the hotel and grounds were beautiful. The staff were all very helpful. We had a lovely room in the courtyard area, very quiet and private.
