Gorgeous property with wonderful staff throughout. Our room was in one of the converted cottages, beautifully done and we even had an Easter egg left as a gift as it was over Easter weekend. Everywhere was spotless and well presented, food and drink exceptional, perfect place for a romantic getaway.

A wonderful unique hotel in stunning surroundings - beautifully landscaped. The interior is an homage to the 80s and 90s and the Patron’s stellar career in London and internationally. Fabulously comfortable, welcoming and so very different - we will keep returning. Thanks to Guy who looked after us well in between the foliage!! Thank you!

Fabulous position in Chippenham a beautiful historic building and the addition is done tastefully. Staff are superb.
The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip.
The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip. We stayed in one of the cottages which was renovated to and excellent standard maintaining original features. The gardens are interesting. I declined to be shown to the cottage but would recommend being taken to the one given as the allocated one was not obvious.

The Hotel is not in Castle Combe itself.
The Hotel is not in Castle Combe itself. It is a short drive away from Castle Combe up a very narrow one track road. The hotel is wonderful and we had a great dinner meal there. Not so fussed about breakfast. We did not want a cooked breakfast and the breakfast bar itself could have been improved.

One of my favourite locations in all of the UK, I have not been back in 29 years and the village has lost no charm at all.
Hot chocolate and cake from a friendly gentleman in the village was perfect on the wet day that we visited.

I loved Castle Combe.
I loved Castle Combe. It’s a really picturesque town great for photos. If you’re there for longer than a couple of hours then the walking tracks surrounding the town are exceptional, especially during autumn. So many amazing walking trails and leafy pathways and wild blackberries all along the tracks. I spent ages just walking around. It’s even nice to just sit under a tree in front of the Manor with a book.
If you plan on taking public transport then make sure you plan getting there and leaving carefully. Public transport didn’t run there on the day I planned to go so I had to take an Uber there, but then getting an Uber out of the town is not an option (unless you’re very lucky). So just don’t take an Uber into the town on a Sunday if you’re also planning on leaving on Sunday or you might find yourself stranded.
There are buses that come but only a couple a day, and some are a bit of a distance from the city centre and you’re likely to lose phone reception if you try and walk to those stops.. so plan ahead wisely. But there should be a bus that comes right to the city centre- just don’t miss it!
P.S If you go for a walk outside of the main town make sure to find the Hollow! The little fairy house hidden in a log, inside it you’ll find a book where you can sign your name :)

Beautiful village.
Beautiful village.
I loved every minute of my stay however, 1 day is more than enough to explore the whole village.
The bridge, church and Manor house is a must see.
Foot at Castle inn was amazing.
Parking is available but public car park is some distance away.
I cannot fault this beautiful village.
We loved the Edwardian wing where our room was. Probably the most comfortable beds my sister and I had throughout our trip around England. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff amazing. We only stayed one night but next time, we plan to stay longer and really enjoy the courtyard. It was wonderful walking the grounds at night. An absolute must for anyone wanting a unique experience.
A cute stay in the Cotswolds, a 10 minute drive from Castle Combe. We booked last minute and were happy to find a place for a good price!
The pub is buzzy, has good food and drinks and is well priced.
There is free parking too which is great.
The room is nice and modern, with good facilities and worked well for the night.
The hotel is in the centre of Castle Combe, a beautiful village with quaint stone cottages, stream, butter cross and all set in gorgeous country side for walking. It was cosy, staff were very friendly and the room was very comfy with the most luxurious bed. The breakfasts were delicious.
Absolutely loved this property! Stunning rooms, so comfortable, excellently presented. Six of us enjoyed our stay and spent a lot of time in the hot tub! Kitchen and dinning is well stocked. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay right in the centre in Castle Combe. Treat yourself!
There is another White Heart in Castle Combe, not too far away, which is very confusing. We went there first by mistake and I'm glad that's not where we were staying. I think the comments about rude staff might be due to that mix up. The staff here are amazing. Food is awesome.
Easy access, nicely tucked behind a pub. The room was plenty of space for a couple! It was clean though a bit of draft from door which did bring in a bit of dust and greenery. The pub serves breakfast and was good; really friendly staff. We also had dinner one night in the pub
A quintessentially English cottage in a beautiful village. Very well equipped and comfortable with a well stocked Kitchen. The vaulted cathedral ceiling in the Master Bedroom with a four poster bed completed our wonderful relaxing vacation in the Cotswolds.
The location is very pretty and the decor in the rooms is well thought out. The car park is close to the room and there is a restaurant onsite. Very close to Castle Combe and Bradford-on-Avon.
The breakfast was very nice with hot options service was lovely the people working at the hotel were more than nice and accommodating we enjoyed ourselves very much our stay was for four days
Lovely property, very well decorated and very clean. Location is great, it’s a short walk to Castle Combe village and lots of walking routes in the area. Would highly recommend this property.
Lovely cottage room. Excellent facilities. Bath and shower were amazing. Christmas tree in the room made it all the better. Great location. Lovely village pubs. Hotel so unique.
Really lovely stay. Peaceful location and walking distance to Castle Combe village. Accommodation is comfortable and our host went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Bathroom was really well done. The king bed was very comfortable. The ambiance v was lovely. The Castle Inn restaurant offered a nice selection for dinner.
