We had a lovely week during the late July heatwave. The host Jo greeted us and was lovely. The cottage was clean, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for trips inland or to the coast and had a couple of good pubs around a 25-minute stroll away. We made good use of the Bbq facilities and stargazers will appreciate the dark skies. All in an excellent week.

Tiny little village with most houses having names rather than numbers! There isn’t a shop but there is a pub which serves Italian cuisine. Diss and Harleston are both nearby for shops and other amenities. We found Brockdish Common which leads down to the river and footpaths into the countryside.
