As a solo traveller I resent paying for 2 people in a double room in the larger chains of hotel - this was ideal for me. Enough space and facilities for an overnight and a good location so close to A1.

Biggleswade is a busy little village with plenty of local shops and eateries. It is a good centre to visit local historic houses like Knebworth plus rail travel to interesting towns nearby such as Hichin and Letchworth.

Biggleswade seem to be a very happy place with plenty of Pubs, restaurants and Cafe's. It was an attractive small town with good connections to other areas e.g. London, Peterborough and Milton Keynes. As a short stay I think it would be ideal.

Not somewhere to holiday, need to have a reason to visit Biggleswade. Place looks rather tired. I used to live in the area, left around 2007 and rather glad I did. Ate at the Stratton House Hotel, lovely food and great service. Had a few pints in The Wheatsheaf, great little local pub.

Biggleswade seems like a very pleasant little town with a variety of shops and places to eat. We only stayed for 1 night but there is lots of information about walks in the area which look good. We went to Old Warden (a model village about 6 mile drive) which is well worth a visit, particularly for those interested in old aircraft (See the Shuttleworth Collection) and the pub food there was excellent with very friendly staff and clientele.

We visited the Shuttleworth collection museum and Biggleswade was the nearest town. Stayed at the Weathersppons and were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely clean and comfortable room for a budget price.
Friendly staff too!
