The location was a 5 minute car drive from stonehenge and close to the A303. It was basic but adequate and there is free parking. The location is very quiet and peaceful. Late access was easily arranged. and the lady running the hostel was very friendly and helpful. I did not get a chance to see the farm but the environment looked to be very pleasant.

Very central to Amesbury so easy to walk out to amenities; close to the attractions we were visiting, I.e. Stone Henge and Bluestone vineyard. Parking for 2 cars was brilliant. The courtyard in the back was lovely to sit out in - we were lucky enough to have some sunshine during our short stay. We also appreciated the games, particularly Backgammon. The owners were very friendly and welcoming in all their communications.

It’s basically a small village which has been massively over developed with housing estates and distribution centres, this resulted in a lot of lorries and heavy traffic running through. Close to Stonehenge but Salisbury would be a much better option for accommodation.

Would really help to remind those not familiar with sharing accommodation with others that just because they have had a good sleep doesn’t mean you can make as much noise as possible and disturb others’ sleeping

We had family in Amesbury to visit so perfect for us and still handy to Salisbury and bus to London. My brother liked the pubs and the bakery was very good. You would need a car to explore surrounding area though and there was plenty to see

Access to Stonehenge was so quick and easy.
Access to Stonehenge was so quick and easy. We could have spent another day exploring the area (other ancient forts and circles) and trying other places to eat in the town. There were 3 grocery stores - a great place to replenish your supplies. The bakery in town is first rate!!

Absolutely disappointing!!!!
Absolutely disappointing!!!! room a sham of broken furniture, stained seating chair, curtain rail that fell on you drawing curtains.... too much limescale on shower taps. Shower curtain dirty, skirting boards never been touched for months and NO CHEF!!!!!! after a 6 hr journey all we wanted was to freshen up and have a meal (as advertised) seemingly they've had no chef for over a year.... MISS ADVERTISEMENT! ...it wouldn't have mattered if alternative room was offered, sooooooooo disappointed, we just wanted to go home !
The Antrobus Hotel is a lovely old building and the private garden was an unexpected bonus, very relaxing and you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of a busy little town. The staff were all helpful and friendly, the linen all spotless and the breakfast really excellent. I would certainly stay there again.
The Aparotel Amesbury was everything we needed! Beautifully appointed, comfortable and pristine clean. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. The location was perfect for all the town's amenities and the cost was great value for money.
Absolutely love this place! Have stayed a few times now, excellent facilities and really comfy beds. Great pub food and lovely walks around especially to woodhenge and amesbury. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Lovely and quirky!
