Was alright for hubby, but not so good for myself. Being disabled the seating was not comfortable in restaurant and food lacked variety for me to choose from

The welcome was good and the staff were very friendly, particularly those who had experience.
Breakfast was good and the scheduled time slots helpful to ensure a prompt service. Breakfast choice was good and the hot options well cooked.
Dinner in the bistro was very good too and excellent value.
The layout of the accommodation was interesting with a network of corridors and stairs - if you're disabled you should let the hotel know in advance so that you can be offered an appropriate room.
Lots of public places to sit and relax.

Very cosy cottage, just a short walk from the beach & the town centre, with 2 supermarkets for all that you'd need 2 minutes walk from the cottage.
Garden was a lovely haven & the summer house was the perfect place to read your book & enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day, i'm now looking at summer houses on line, i definitely need one in my life now.
Limited parking directly outside the cottage but we found parking very easily just around the corner. Would also recommend the Lighthouse for food, had a lovely meal there.

A clean, comfortable and adequately equipped apartment situated in a peaceful residential area. The hassle-free parking facility and outdoor grassed/tree area were both welcome additions, and a bonus to have the convenience of a Tesco Express, Co-op and pub nearby.

It's a nice coastal town, with cinema, pubs, cafes and restaurants, plus an attractive pebble beach very close to town centre. Also some nice shops - I found Reed Books next to where I was staying was good place to pick up some extra holiday reading when I'd finished what I"d brought.
I ate at a number of different venues, all good. Don't remember all the names but one was the Chocolate Teapot where I had a very good crab salad. Lots of dishes using the local seafood in most of the restaurants and cafe's,

The town is welcoming and friendly.
Parking is a bit trying but then it is for everybody including local people. The high street has a good selection of shops of all kinds. The town is vibrant and charming without being noisy. For those of all ages who may want a gentler holiday.

Aldeburgh is a quaint town with shop, pubs and restaurants. Most of the high street parking is only two hours but you can find free parking within the nearly residential street. The White Heart pub and Cross Keys are great pubs, Magpie bakery has lovely bread and cakes.

Abundance of cafes and restaurants in a lovely seaside location with good walks along the beaches. Ideally located for trips to the likes of Snape and Orford.
On the downside very limited free parking between 9am - 6pm and few pubs which meant they were always packed and being a party of 5 could never find a table. Ended up going to Orford for a more leisurely relaxed drink. .

Aldeburgh is a great base for the Suffolk coast, and very close to Snape Maltings which we visited. The High Street is an interesting mix of independent and chain shops, plus lots of restaurants and pubs. I previously visited many years ago and having returned once will definitely be going back.
The owner is a delightfully sensitive personality and extremely well organised. The proximity to Aldeburgh, The Red House and Snape Maltings is perfect for handiness to all. Parking is very good too.
Other guests are delightful - many people return. Ordering breakfast the evening before works perfectly.
Staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, which is centrally located in beautiful Aldeburgh and right on the beach.
A very nice and well equipped flat. Very convenient, as it's on the high street and also close to the sea front. A good base to explore Aldeburgh.
We thoroughly enjoyed our break.
