I have nothing but praise for the 2 guys that own this hotel. They are absolutely charming and perfect hosts. The room was brilliant, overlooking the square with a small balcony and very well laid out. Breakfast was superb in fact we think it was the best breakfast we have ever had in France. We had such a wonderful warm welcome from Marielle and her communication was fantastic even before we arrived. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the rooms and bathrooms, to the delicious breakfast. It was great that Marielle allowed us to use the dining table to feed our children at in the evening rather than already needing to take them out to a restaurant. I would thoroughly recommend Rêves et Rivières to families. It was great to be able to visit the town of Chinon nearby which was a beautiful place to walk around with the kids.
