It was in a beautiful location, I done lots of amazing activities while staying (snorkelling with reef sharks/ school visit/ hike up the mountain) The whole village seemed to welcome me. Please remember this is a homestay in a very small village with limited supplies, it wasn’t a bad thing but be prepared for bucket washes, not much privacy (you are in a homestay after all) and the home life of a family living on an island. I felt very safe as a solo traveler!

It was very nice stay! Emily is very kind and helpful. It was comfortable, we met new friends there. No internet connection is a big adventage there! Food was a little bit poor (no protein) and portions were small, but you can always ask about more :) It was a great stay :)

It was like staying with favourite family The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, took me for walks, & played cards in the evening. The little kids were delightful, showing me all sorts of treasures from crabs to butterflies

I had a waterfront bure with en-suite bathroom, which was very affordable compared to other resorts in the Yasawas. 3 Meals a day for $70. The food was delicious, except I would advise taking some muesli with you if you don’t want a lot of white flour for breakfast (mostly dough balls, pancakes and some fruit). Good snorkelling right out front. Can rent mask and snorkel, or take your own. They have flippers.
