Hotel in Nacula Island
Oarsmans Bay Lodge offers accommodation in Nacula Island. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar. This was the most unbelievable place to stay if you want complete calm & serenity. It is totally removed from the outside world & is an oasis of calm & peace. The staff are amazing & most of them are islanders who are totally invested in Oarsman Bay & the experience that they want their guests to have. The whole ethos behind Oarsman Bay is wonderful & how it helps & supports the wider community of the island. Fantastic snorkeling, amazing food, wonderful staff.

Tavewa
It was like being part of a family staying at this little piece of heaven in the Yasawa islands. So many beautiful places to choose from but if you’re looking for that personal touch then this is the place for you. It will be the first place we go back when we return to Fiji. The staff went above and beyond and became more like friends. Snorkelling just off the beach was some of the best we’d seen and the walks along the sand just beautiful. Great memories and couldn’t have had lovelier people to weather out the cyclone with 😍
Nacula Island
This place is a gem! We were welcomed so warmly into the village, and got to meet and chat with so many people. This was the first thing we did in the Yasawa Islands, and it was a great place to stay to learn about Fijian culture before moving onto some of the more mainstream resorts. Getting to visit different homes was incredible, and the food was SO delicious - thank you so much to everyone! And finally, how could I not mention the beach? Idyllic! You'll be off-grid, though, so make sure to bring a few good books!
Wayalaila Ecohaven is a resort run by locals and is definitely one of the best spots in Yasawa Islands. Saff is very friendly and will do their best for you so you feel like home. Rooms and entire resort are very tidy. Food was always freshly made and tasty. The resort also offers great activities so you will never be bored. If you want to have a great time in Fiji, you don't have to plan anything in advance. Just visit Wayalaila Ecohaven, and they will organize you the best Fijian holiday.
We absolutely loved our stay at Oarsmans! Such a beautiful spot, friendly staff and delicious food. This was one of our favourite places in Fiji/the Yasawa Islands. We saw several staff members later during our trip in Fiji at the caves and at Port Denarau, and the fact they recognised us and details of our trip shows how friendly and personal the staff is!
Our favourite place to stay in Fiji! Beautiful setting at the gateway to the Yasawa islands. Staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Our tent Bure on the beach was comfortable and had a great view of the front beach. The beginners diving with bull sharks is a MUST and was one of the best experiences of my life. Highly recommend!
The staff were some of the friendliest people and made my first 2 nights in the Yasawa islands very welcoming. It set a good tone for the rest of my 5 weeks in Fiji. Their dive master was brilliant at suggesting when and where to snorkel as the weather is not always 26°C and sunny. Superb hilltop view as advertised.
Nanuya Lailai
Everything was great. Coming alone i felt a bit apprehensive but sunrise lagoon was so welcoming. From the people to the food everything was amazing, get exactly what you expect and more from a Fijian homestay in the Yasawa islands!
Very friendly staff! The housereef is amazing! One of the best snorkelling i have ever done. The diving with the inhouse dive shop is great as well.
The facilities and services were excellent. The friendly staff.
Best resort we've ever been to. Most beautiful people and incredible location
Everything. The staff made such a welcoming, fun but relaxing atmosphere. The pool and bar and beach set up was perfect. The food was INCREDIBLE! The quiz night and atmosphere was good fun.
The staff were absolutely amazing from first arriving, loved all the activities and they were so friendly and accommodating! Our accommodation was great and the whole area is very well kept and maintained by all of the staff.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautiful! The bathroom is luxurious, loved showering under the stars. I was unsure how I would like the mandatory meal plan, but I was happy it’s how they do things. the meals are excellent and the service is even better. You’re provided breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the staff are welcoming and helpful. The snorkeling off the beach at the resort is great! I’m an avid snorkeler and diver and really enjoyed the ease of access to the coral reef. The resort dive shop also offers many other activities. Some are free and others at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend the Manta Ray Passage, short 10 min boat ride from resort!
Very authentic. No electricity just a few solar lights but this is how they live. An amazingly simple life. The family is lovely and made us so welcome. We harvested and planted cassava, grated fresh coconut, met the village chief, drank cava along with many other traditional things. Beautiful location. We highly recommend this homestay but remember you will not be at a resort. No cocktails by the swimming pool - just authentic Fiji island life.
