Coconut Beach Resort, hotel in Nacula Island

Set within a tropical garden of coconut palms and surrounded by turquoise water, Coconut beach Resort directly overlooks the world famous Blue Lagoon in the Yasawa Islands.

This resort was absolutely wonderful. The staff and the owner (Sheung) completely blew us away by making us feel so welcome and so at home. We all became like one big family and it was just such a unique and wonderful experience. The resort felt authentic and genuine which was exactly what we were looking for. Great activities were offered if you wanted to participate, I didnt even have time for reading! Best of all was the wonderful staff and the beautiful songs and music they played each morning and night. My two sons (17 and 11 years old) absolutely loved Coconut Beach Resort and we would love to come back again, next time with dad and our daughter who didnt make it this time. Thank you so much for making our stay truly magical and please say extra thank you to the dive team and my favourite musicians and warrior dancers. We will never forget YOU!

Nacula (pronounced na-th-ula) is an incredible place to stay. It's the last stop for accomodation on the Yasawa Flyer. It has a home reef you can snorkel at, with plentiful and diverse sea life, including an elusive turtle, and colourful and varied coral. Hiking is available and easy to get to, with trail heads and trail easy to find and follow. There are caves which you can visit and swim in a short boat ride away. The local village allows people to attend the church service at a low cost. It is a wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate.

Isolated place, nice beaches and cloesby reefs, a few resorts and lodges on island also a few villages. No shops on the island. Can easily get around by boat and also a few walking tracks, easy to get to with the ferry.

One of the best weeks of my life.

One of the best weeks of my life. I'm a solo traveller and I'd go back tomorrow. The staff are just amazing and treat you like family, everyone on a first name basis. It is a smaller resort and we got to now each other as it's so chilled and everyone is just relaxed.

The hike over the hill gave perspective and was interesting.

The hike over the hill gave perspective and was interesting. The rooms were spacious and relaxing. The costs were hard to accomodate with only a certain amount of cash in my wallet and no way of topping up. Visiting the village and my kids developing a sense of perspective about how people around the world live was valuable.

Snorkelling was great at various reefs.

Snorkelling was great at various reefs. The set menu was always fresh, healthy and tasty. The cabins are steps away from the water and are spacious and comfortable, with views of the ocean. All day there are either sunny or shady spots to laze about and read, if you are not swimming, snorkelling, fishing or watching the locals play 7 a side rugby. A trip to the limestone cave for a swim is good fun and a must for purchasing a nice gift to take home and assist the local community as well.

The beach was gorgeous with a reef for snorkeling and opportunities for diving from the on-site dive shop which I used for 6 dives. Gear was in good condition and the dive masters and boat crew were all fabulous. The garden villa I had was roomy, private and very comfortable with a gorgeous private outdoor bathroom. Staff are very friendly and the meals are varied and tasty. It has that "island feel" and a mix of travelers and accommodation styles but meal time is a communal time where you can meet up with fellow travelers and dine with others which was important to me as a solo traveler. It is a 4 hour boat ride from the main land but a seaplane is available. Extra activities are available or you can just relax.
