The owners were WONDERFUL. Kind, helpful, friendly and spoke good English. Other guests had young children and these were well catered for with play areas and activities. Room very comfortable. One of my themes - conventional coat hangers not just in the room but lots of them hanging in the corridors so TAKE THAT! you mean places that have those nasty non-stealable ones. Hotel Britz is a lovely little hotel/apartment which was very clean. The building suffers from some eastern european blok fatigue, but that may also be it's charm. The rooms where very well taken care of and enjoyable.
The smell of the river, mentioned by others, was luckily not a problem while we where there!
It is in an excellent location, just below Peklo-Hájenka, from where all the Jizerská magistrála cycling and hiking tracks are accessible. There is a fireplace in front with wood chopped and ready to burn, bring your own meat or sausages to grill on the fire. It is excellent value for money given the location. The view from nearby Devil's Stones (Čertovy kameny) is amazing, especially at sunset.
Wonderful Hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms and exceptional beautiful view of the forests. The restaurant offers delicious food, we had dinner twice and everything was tasty. We enjoyed the breakfast too, perfect!
Friendly and relax athmosfera. Parking in front of the building, easy access. The area is magical, with forest walks and paths. We will be back. Highly recommend!
it's ideal for weekend with kids: two huge indoor playgrounds, an outdoor playground and a swimming pool. A steam train n the dining room and a playground room there too, which is wonderful idea for a calm parents' eating. Even containers for diapers! It's the most baby and toddlers friendly hotel that we've ever seen!
