The check in was very friendly and efficient. We had booked a room with SPA, but the upgrade had not been registered from Booking, Anyway everything was clarified with a smile and we even received the upgrade without extra costs.. Welcome drinks and small tapas were offered for free!! Room was very nice with a comfortable bathtub. We also had a terrace with some view. Breakfast on the terrace was brilliant and sufficient. Staff was always very friendly and service minded. Own parking in the basement with additional costs, but very practical. Central, perfect location.

Lots to see and do for a family holiday, especially if you do not mind travelling a bit every day. Especially good if you like hiking in the many nearby woods and hills. In the city there was a zoo, botanic gardens, museums, galleries and several places to swim (indoors and outdoors). We also made trips to Zittau in Germany to ride on the steam railway, the three border point (CZ, DE, PL), Frydlant castle, the Jizerka hills and Bedrichov.

Liberec is a great city with plenty to do with a family of...
Liberec is a great city with plenty to do with a family of children between 4 and 12 years old. There are lots of great shopping malls, great parks for the kids which are much better than the UK, for food and eating out it’s cheaper than UK. The supermarket food prices are the same as UK. It’s easy to travel by bus or coach from Prague airport but I would recommend a car to make the most of it. It’s 90 minutes from Prague and the motorways and easy to drive on. Things we’d recommend- Aqua Park, Babylon, Fun Park Babylon, IQ Landia, Hop Arena a trampoline park, Park Mirakulum and Fajn Park are both worth a day out if you have a car, they are 90 mins from Liberec but worth it for kids 4-13 years old. The Eco Park in Liberec is great, the zoo, the museum and the area around there is beautiful with all the architecture. Definitely the nicest part of Liberec. And there are plenty of walks and nature to explore around Jested, Bedrichov, and Javornik which are all accessible by bus. All these areas have ski slopes but are great in summer too for the toboggan runs and parks and walks with the family. The main things are the quality of the parks, the rides, the swimming pool in Liberec is great and cheap! Slides, jacuzzi, hot and cold plunge pools and sauna and steam rooms. Also if you like Saunas try Saunia in the Forum shopping centre. This place is as good as any sauna and spa hotel in the UK FLR about £15. We’ll worth a visit and I can’t wait to go again. Weather wise Liberec has 4 true seasons. The summers are sunny but the winter is cold with deep snow. Enjoy your trip. Hope this helps a little.

Liberec is a beautiful and calm city. Actually it was a golden mean between a bigger city and a smaller town, because there are plenty of activities available like zoo, IQ park, Babylon aquaplace or regional gallery, but still, not so many people walking around.

Great to wander around the old town - and the trip to the top of the mountain by cable car is wonderful and it's definitely worth the treat to eat in the restaurant at the top, the decor is a must
Good location near the old Market square, near to some restaurants. Within 5 minutes walking distance to the tram station, which links the Main Station of Liberec with the historical city center. Nearby are the famous old Waldstein timbered houses.
Nice made room decoration with countries where the owners have been. Very nice architectural common Wine Restaurant and breakfast area with very good Czech Wine selection. Very nice selection of in-time-made breakfasts.
Nice place in the city center. Cozy apartments with everything you need. Even pots and pans. We also found two Nescafe capsules for the coffee machine in the room. Although we found it by accident)
Everything was clean and well maintained, there were no problems with check-in. The apartments are small, but if you didn’t come to Liberec to sit in a room all the time, then this doesn’t matter.
This isn't a full-service, luxury hotel - the reception is only available between certain hours, for example - but it's a stylish, very well-kept place for an overnight stay. Owner is friendly, helpful and English-speaking. Breakfast is very good - and on the evening we arrived, sitting outside with a bottle of chilled wine and a selection of cheese was just what we needed!
I chose this hotel for the following 2 reasons:
- location (close to the university)
- price (we preferred a reasonable price instead of a number of stars)
The hotel absolutely suited our purpose and if I ever go to Liberec again, I will choose this place again.

Staff was very friendly and service minded! This hotel is on top floor of the modern building and the room was almost new and clean giving a luxurious feeling. Breakfast was great with view over the city. Location is central with restaurants and shops at walking distance.

We had older type room but there is also new, better rooms. Liked a lot this old times atmosphere. Hotel is very friendly for dogs - we have taken our dog to hotel.
What an amazing hotel. The staff was great, the room was comfortable, and the meals were amazing! Our breakfast was both delicious and plentiful, and dinner was great as well! Well-kept area around the hotel with hiking trails and beautiful scenery.
Nice placement on the outskirts of Liberec, just 10mins from city centre. The building is older, but still offers comfy accomodation. There is nature all around and it is calm. Good breakfast from the owner.
