Dated and tired rooms, very old stained bathroom sink, not able to open windows so no fresh air - stayed previous night at another motel for same price but far better amenities. Apparently there were new gym facilities - should be upgrading rooms instead.

Booked 1 night in a standard king room for $139/night. We have stayed here before & thought it very good.
Nice wide driveway into the complex from Eyre Highway. The access gate gets locked at night. All single storey with car parking at the front.
Easy check in. Allocated room 7, which had a king size bed & a single on the proviso we only used the king size bed. (By way of explanation we were originally allocated 1 of the rooms facing the highway. I asked if we could be moved, thinking there would be highway noise. The receptionist obliged. Thanks very much.)
A kitchenette is provided incl Bar fridge, microwave & sink as well as toaster, kettle & crockery/cutlery.
Wifi works well as does the air con, which is very quiet.
The ensuite has a fab shower in it which gives out consistent hot water.
The rooms are very quiet, the bed comfortable & we slept very well.
This motel provides everything we need at a very affordable price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip. We stayed at the Augusta Courtyard Motel, which was excellent. There may not be a lot to see but it’s quite a pretty town & nothing’s very far away.
We went down to the wharf for a peaceful stroll and took some lovely photos. Had breakfast in a cafe adjacent to a park, where there was free live music courtesy of a band that was singing and playing. They even supplied fold up chairs for folks to sit in 👍
A great morning was had before we headed off to the race track. Our horse wasn’t a winner but everything else was.
Loved our stay and wished we had an extra night!

The Wadlata Centre was excellent. Certainly worth the entry fee.
We stayed at the Magestic Oasis Apartments - friendly, helpful staff in a lovely location. Full kitchen facilities. The air conditioner was very welcomed as the outside temperature was 42 C. A tad hot!

Odd town shopping area layout.
Odd town shopping area layout.
Wanted to go on Pichi Richi railway but here wrong day unfortunately.
Make sure you visit the water tower. Go up it and enjoy the views of Port Augusta and further afield.
I was pleasantly surprised how good it was for budget accomodation, it was a little dated but very clean and excellent service. We checked in late and it was easy to find the key and get settled and lovely to find a personally written note and a couple of goodies welcoming us in our room. Considering it was the cheapest accomodation we could find it exceeded our expectations 😁
What a fab place to stay in Port Augusta. Lots of little extras! Spacious, clean, comfortable. Easy parking. Sat out on the deck at sunset. Walking distance to Woolies. Even an EV charging station, my daughter would like that. Friendly and efficient staff. Very secure complex. Definitely the place to stay.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it is my hotel of choice in Port Augusta. It is far enough away from the main business area to be quiet, but is still only a short drive. It is near the train lines, but the trains haven't bothered me and I am a light sleeper.
Great value in Port Augusta - modern room - felt really comfy - good cooking facilities - separate bedrooms and living dining area - lovely modern cabins with a great verandah and parking next to cabin - really tidy and very clean - definitely recommend
Excellent motel. Surprisingly quiet even though it was on a very busy road. Very close to a supermarket and a hotel where we had an excellent meal. Nice walk to the Rotary Park and water tower lookout where there was a great view of the area
The Standpipe has an excellent Indian restaurant which was an absolute bonus - this place is worth crossing Port Augusta for. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed eating here. Great menu and warm, friendly service. Totally recommend!
room clean and tydy. was all up to our expectations owner very approachable and willing to assist with any questions able to assist in providing pet friendly accommadation location of motel convient for travellers
the rooms were lovely, comfy and spacious, so clean and pet friendly. BWS, Club/Hotel for food, supermarket food land and roadhouse servo just next door to facilities. so close to everything.
Comfort Inn Port Augusta definitely would stay at again. great size room with comfy bed and a great bathroom, also there’s a pub next door but 1 and didn’t hear a thing from it.
Cool old historic hotel. Bar and restaurant are classic Australian fare. Location is great, with easy shopping and a nice walking path along the river. Secure parking was good.
We had the most delicious dinner at the Standpipe Motel Restaurant. Beautiful aesthetic and atmosphere, attentive and efficient wait staff, and incredible food.
Lovely location and outlook Quiet and the best shower I have had in paid for accommodation
We would definitely stay here again when next in Port Augusta
