Everything was perfect. Room and facilities were great. We stayed in a beachfront suite and it was beautiful.
Location was amazing.
We had a hire car and parking is free and secure.
Would absolutely stay again!

The property had everything you could possibly need for a family travelling with a baby! It was clean, spacious, modern, relaxing and comfortable.

A stunning place, with the main strip by the water and palm trees. Unfortunately, we found most of the staff in the cafe's, restaurants and the only bar we found, to be unfriendly and some quite rude. Had to walk a long way to find a place to buy some wine. Didn't find any decent shops either. Surf Club, the waitress was very rude. Told us to sit at the front. We then noticed the table was reserved in half an hours time. Zero smiles, or courtesy. For such a beautiful location, it was disappointing.

A beautiful part of the world, perfect temperature and very tropical. People are very friendly, including the tourists. Close to the Daintree, Sea tours, restaurants including NuNus which was unbelievably good! Close to the Pier for a regular walk. You don't need a car. Very relaxing atmosphere, showers on the beach to wash of the salt water after your dip. Life guards on duty at the beach. Great locally made ice creams.

Palm Cove is beautiful but not a lot to do in the township itself - all the activities we did were a 20-40 min drive in either direction. Holidaymakers there generally appeared to fall into one of two camps - retirees, or young families (toddlers/preschoolers/babies). Book ahead if you're planning dinner out as you won't likely get a table unless you do (even casual dining - the tavern included!).

Gorgeous weather for time of year.
Gorgeous weather for time of year. Mid to high twenties in August. A small ,walkable centre with plentiful restaurants and cafes. A pleasant walk from one end of beach area to the other. Nice beach with shade provided by palm trees. Many opportunities for day excursions in the area. Public bus runs regularly to and from Cairns city.

Beautiful quiet town, plenty of food options, not too busy.
Beautiful quiet town, plenty of food options, not too busy. Easy as to grab a hire car to head north up to the Daintree and my 6yo was stoked to see crocs up there in the wild. Vivo was epic for dinner and Nunu a million points for a perfect brunch.
Weather was tropical and warm enough even for the middle of winter we got into the pools every day. There is one heated pool, the other one you need to be a bit braver but still worth it.

Love the beach and the walks along the esplanade with the stunning palms. So many options with restaurants cafes and found the staff all very friendly. It’s very relaxing place to spend 7-10 days.
Easy drive to surrounding places, port Douglas cairns and markets. If you’re interested in water activities there are options.
Life saving club was great and Elgreko Greek restaurant was fantastic
This apartment is part of the Peppers Ocean Beach Club, right on the shore at Port Douglas. It’s in an excellent position, right on the front with Ocean views to the front and Pool Views from the bedrooms. 2 large terraces and a large living area provide plenty of relaxation areas.
It’s quiet, well equipped and was very comfortable for our family of 4. Car parking right downstairs was easy.
The pool is fabulous for kids of all ages, plenty of noodles / toys provided and lots of space to play.
The staff are really good, friendly and helpful, without exception. Peppers are always reliable in terms of the facilities; the pool, bar and restaurants nearby were all great and the breakfast buffet was really good too, catering for those requiring gluten-free better than most. Location is right opposite the beach and the market popping up across from the hotel along the esplanade on the Sunday was good too.
The unit was perfect for our family of four (two kids 6&9). There was plenty of space for us all and and abundance of supplies / basics for your stay.
Peppers is a great resort for families.
The location is perfect in close proximity to lots of eateries, the beach and a small playground.
Second time we've stayed here. The location is great. For Palm Cove, a room twice the size of a hotel room and less than $200 a night is good value. The bed was really comfortable.
