Since numerous visit we like Hamilton . It has a variety of things to do and a bit of a village feeling. The various eating establishment, if you are not a take away or pizza fan, are only acceptable and fairly pedestrian standard.
The refurbished Daydream Island Resort is located in the heart of Queensland's Whitsunday Islands.

Wildlife all over the island was a pleasant surprise. Island was just big enough. Great buffet breakfast, large rooms, all activities included in the price. I would go back again. The food at the restaurants was exceptional. I haven't been impressed by a meal for a a long time. Every dish we ordered was superb. Then chef surely knowns what he is doing. Drink and food prices were not exorbarant for a remote Island, you would pay more at some city restaurants and bars. We went just before school holidays during the weekdays so there were no crowds and not many children. PS, the beaches are chunks of broken coral so wear some aqua shoes.

The accomodation is gorgeous, you feel like you are in a rainforest it is so lovely being in nature. We loved the hosts dog Salt and all the birds we got to see during our stay. The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfy the best sleep of our road trip so far. Leonie was so accommodating and kind to us during our stay she makes you so comfortable at the property. There are nice balcony areas to relax, one them has a jacuzzi where you can sit and take in the beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend this to anyone coming to Airlie Beach, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you Leonie

Clean and modern studio, had everything we needed for the stay. Pool area was nice and not busy. Food trucks each evening were great for dinner if you didn’t want to cook and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. The staff were welcoming and friendly, we arrived early and they let us know when our place was ready early. Lovely coffee truck on sight in the mornings. We booked a Whitsundays tour through reception and it made the process easy.

Great venue , just a little noisy due to traffic. But other than that great place to stay!
Hamilton Island is a beautiful part of the world. The beaches are beautiful. Plenty to do and see with many tour options out of the mariner. The walking/hikes are beautiful, with amazing views HI. It is wonderfully clean and so easy to get around by foot or golf buggy. You will not be disappointed visiting this beautiful island. It is a little pricey but don’t let that deter you, it is well worth it. Plenty of meal options, both high end and family friendly.
Whitehaven beach is breathtakingly beautiful also, another must see tour out of HI

Such a beautiful peaceful place to visit.
Such a beautiful peaceful place to visit. The whole island had a great atmosphere and travelling in the buggies was fun. You pay a bit more for food and drink on the island but that is to be expected. We spent on average $200 a day as a couple which included eating out as well breakfasts and some lunches at our apartment. Dinner at Coca-Chu was gorgeous, we found cocktails and lunch at Sails (Catseye Beach) delicious and reasonably priced.

A great family place with plenty to do.
A great family place with plenty to do. It was raining most of the time we were there but that didn’t matter. We got a few hours by the pool and the other activities filled in the time. It’s a lovely tranquil island with lovely staff.

We were blessed to be on the top floor (13) and the views were amazing. They'd be good from most rooms to be honest! The apartment seemed to have been renovated in recent years and it was very clean and had all amenities that we needed for our short (2 night) stay. It is not a luxury hotel - but an apartment with the amenities you need. Great to have air con throughout too. Bed was comfy but an extra blanket would have been welcomed. Fluffy towels. The sink in the bedroom was a bit odd though.
Unfortunately we had rain on both days of our visit to Hamilton Island and found the location too far away from restaurants down at the Marina and over the other side where the Resort Centre was. Our buggy had no plastic covering and seemed old as the key kept slipping out. We got very wet. On the positive side the apartment was very spacious and well equipped and had a very leafy outlook and water glimpses.
Impeccable service. Right from the airport pickup to the champagne welcome drink to the amazing hospitality during our stay. Breakfast was outstanding! Since we were a honeymoon couple, we got a room with an amazing view of the infinity pool and the beach, as well as a complimentary bottle. If you’re staying at the Hamilton Island, you must stay here for a couple of nights with your partner.
Luxury accommodation in a great location. The views are spectacular. We saw whales from the balcony two days running. Having a buggy included made it easy to access the beach, pools, supermarket and restaurants when we wanted to and then enjoy the tranquility of our apartment.
We had 7 adults and two children in our group and there was plenty of space.
Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed staying at the Whitsunday apartments. So worth it to pay extra for the Oceanview because you get the perfect view of the beach and bay. You even get to sit back and watch the sunrise straight from your balcony !
The room was clean and spacious. Was always so warm and cosy from the sunlight coming in. Will definitely come and stay again.
Fantastic location, and the room exceptional, amazing sunrises from in bed overlooking the islands.
Lovely staff around the hotel and in the bar.
Breakfast buffet very lovely also.
And right across from the beach.
Just the perfect place and way to end a holiday on Hamilton island.
Someone greeted us at the airport to transfer us to our accommodation. Free buggy included saved us from having to spend $100 a day to hire, they also provided a child car seat to install in the buggy. Space was really big with laundry and kitchen. We also used the BBQ.
I cannot fault the communication through booking.com with the property managers at Hamilton Island Holiday Apartments. They responded quickly and provided details when required. Room location was great and view superb. Easy to access and nice walk to everything.
The location and the view from the apartment was it's only assets. My husband loved driving around in the golf cart. We waited nearly 20 years to be able to afford to go to Hamilton island we can't tell you how disappointed we are.
Hamilton island is great to relax and the apartment was perfect for it. It was spacious, stylish and very well equipped. We had a three bedroom apartment with three bathrooms, which was a perfect fit for our family of four.
Our accommodation was perfectly located. A short walk or buggy drive to shops and beach/pool.
The islands IGA & bottle shop stocked most items & was great for those balcony bbq over looking the water.
We have stayed in WAHI before but not in this particular apartment and it was beautifully decorated, really well equipped for a stay. Comfortable and all you could want for a holiday in Hamilton Island
Restaurant food was amazing. Room was large with ocean views. Cockatoos perched on our balcony. Bed was comfortable. Location opposite side of road to main beach resort and activities.
Was great! Apartment was great for our family. Great size for our family of five and spacious balcony overlooking the ocean.
Location was great. Close to marina and resort side also.
The person that met us at the airport had a sign with my name on it! Very friendly and helped us to get to the apartments. He also told us about the facilities etc.
