The breakfast was included in the price which made it great value. The only downside was that if you wanted a latte coffee you had to pay which is a first to me.

Location was good. The gentleman who checked me in was kind enough to give me a ground floor room as requested.

Everything - clean, comfortable and perfect location.
Found the place homely - liked the touch of naming the cleaner - the 3 of you did a great job.
The hot chocolate was amazing.

We didn’t have any breakfast. Disappointed reception didn’t have a small range as we did not have a car and are seniors.
Geelong started as a port. It still is. Travellers can ferry across Port Philip Bay to Melbourne, take the ferry to Tasmania, or a bus out to Avalon International Airport to see the world. There is a range of accomodation from 5-star waterfront with views to private and quiet places on bus services across Geelong and its suburbia. Itts about one hour by vline train to Melbourne,

It's a huge town with all the suburbs but it was handy to find accommodation to suit our needs and able to get around with ease in driving. Great to have local shops and eateries in the suburbs. A drive into Geelong and a walk by the river was relaxing. As we caught up with relatives which was good driving distance from where we stayed.
Loved Geelong, excellent restaurants; beautiful waterfront, Sky Wheel ferris wheel. Dine out on Cunningham Pier @ Wa Wa Gee. Sailors Rest restaurant and bar; great food and ambience. Beautiful period homes if you feel like roaming the streets. Lots to do. Didn't get to do half of what we would have liked to.

It is a beautiful town on the beach, but has a good shopping precinct, cafe & night life. It feels safe to travel around. It is less busy than Melbourne so has a bit more of a country feel. Highly recommended to visit, especially if going on to the great ocean road. We had a ball at the GMHBA stadium, caught a bus there and back to CBD. Breakfast the next morning at a small cafe was beautiful.

Although I went for a particular event/function, I imagine I could have spent a few days there, spending time, investigating or spending more time visiting places like the art gallery and wool museum, apart from anywhere else.
The room was excellent, clean comfortable and impressed with the size of the bathroom. The internet connection was fuss free and worked better than other places we have stayed in. It had everything you needed for a great stay, we had a courtyard that was great. would recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the Geelong waterfront.
The bed was fresh and clean, location is good for shopping nearby, Belmont for example and location is not too far away from the city Centre of Geelong. Public transport - bus and railway station close.
