The Burwood East Motel is conveniently situated a short walk from the Burwood One shopping centre with all kinds of shops and eateries on site.
Across the intersection of Burwood Highway and Blackburn Road is a service station with a convenience store, and there is a tram service into the city going along the Burwood Highway, a one minute walk from the motel.
I stayed in the studio apartment and loved how spacious, spotless and modern the room was. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. There was even a little balcony area, which I would definitely have used if I had stayed longer. The whole checking in was smooth and staff were fantastic.
Given I had a late check in, I appreciated that the hotel had secure underground parking when compared to other hotels.
Overall excellent value for money.
I will definitely be back!

This is a truly outstanding hotel, feels like home and a nature reserve in the backyard with kukkaburras & magpies, cicadas buzzing a sparkling inground pool.
The room is very spacious and the shower strong & powerful. Very crisp and clean with open windows, fresh air and peaceful.
The facilities were fantastic for staying with family. Absolutely everything one could need was there, from dishwasher to washing machine, as well as all the things you'd expect from a hotel like soaps, towels and other amenities like lockbox etc.
The carpark is great - easy to find and infront of your room. The rooms are reasonably enough of a standard hotel. Great for overnight stay and having a place to stay. The general service is great and comes with the proper essentials.
Very well-equipped and clean. Location is amazing in the Burwood-Box Hill area in terms of access with Deakin University 6 mins walk away and Tram 75 into Melbourne’s city center.

Such a great location and loved the layout of the apartment, extremely comfortable with all amenities and a very comfy bed which is unusual! I will certainly stay here again if I come to Burwood.

it was in a great location, made it very easy to use public transport around box hill and Burwood, the place is very clean and the staff are lovely to talk to and very helpful.
The bed was comfortable and the place was cleaned once a day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Public transport is easy and right outside the hotel.
