Love the spacious rooms, comfortable bed, and the cleanliness. Location suited us being close to several friends we were visiting in Melbourne, as well as having choice of restaurants nearby for evening meal. Shopping Centre was within walking distance (approx 600 metres away). The hotel is older style, but attractively and stylishly furnished.

Excellent in all aspects at motel .. we like the suction fan in shower that could dry up the floor … but we wd definitely have preferred more hooks and handles for towels, clothing etc in shower area (didn’t include this point earlier)
Across the road were KMart, Aldi, Coles… and a wonderful selection of yummy options … food at China Bar delicious and 24hours too!!!

The Burwood East Motel is conveniently situated a short walk from the Burwood One shopping centre with all kinds of shops and eateries on site.
Across the intersection of Burwood Highway and Blackburn Road is a service station with a convenience store, and there is a tram service into the city going along the Burwood Highway, a one minute walk from the motel.
I stayed in the studio apartment and loved how spacious, spotless and modern the room was. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. There was even a little balcony area, which I would definitely have used if I had stayed longer. The whole checking in was smooth and staff were fantastic.
Given I had a late check in, I appreciated that the hotel had secure underground parking when compared to other hotels.
Overall excellent value for money.

Just a well organised hotel with a team of staff that execute a strong brand of service. The 1 Bdrm apartment I stayed in was comfortable and very well maintained. Great views of the Dandenong Ranges from the balcony. One of the most comfortable hotel beds that I’ve experienced anywhere in Melbourne. Best value stay I’ve had anywhere in quite sometime! Great value for the money. Convenient suburban location. Close to shops and restaurants. Attention to detail - the right number of plates, silverware, towels, etc. Too often we find breakages and losses don't get replaced at many motels/hotels . Not the case here. Will definitely stay again when back in Melbourne.

This is a truly outstanding hotel, feels like home and a nature reserve in the backyard with kukkaburras & magpies, cicadas buzzing a sparkling inground pool.
The room is very spacious and the shower strong & powerful. Very crisp and clean with open windows, fresh air and peaceful.
Very well-equipped and clean. Location is amazing in the Burwood-Box Hill area in terms of access with Deakin University 6 mins walk away and Tram 75 into Melbourne’s city center.
