Cleanliness is of utmost importance, this motel was not clean, plenty of aerosol spray had been used, but in close look, not clean. Clean towels would have been appreciated as wet dirty onles not acceptable, especially when they are partly worn out.

I have been before - ideal distance from Melbourne for a day trip or a short break. I enjoy the beautiful old buildings and parklands in the city centre, and the fact that Bendigo is a junction for roads to many other destinations. I will be back!

I would look for somewhere else to stay other than Mecure.
I would look for somewhere else to stay other than Mecure. sugest all seasons in stead.
A Credit Card Deposit demanded on the room was unjustified as room had been paid in full in advance.
We do not live in a cashless society and nor should we their policy and procedures need to change, this is Australia not France.
I was forced to pay up $ 100 cash deposit on late check in and went hungry all night as had no other money to purchase food after traveling for work all day.

Also impressed with visit to the Great Stupa near Eaglehawk.
On previous visits we have enjoyed the tram trip and excellent tulip displays at tulip time.
Bendigo is an all-round interesting city.

Bendigo is a large town and has many suburbs.
Bendigo is a large town and has many suburbs. Eaglehawk (where we stayed) is a smaller area within Bendigo. Not too much going on apart from having a couple of birds of prey in the name. Still pretty sweet.
Their hospitality was exceptional, and they were always ready to assist. The room was a perfect blend of comfort and functionality and impeccably clean. Given it was warm we certainly made use of the pool facility. The location is ideal being directly opposite Lake Weeroona with a blend of cafes and restaurants nearby and not too far from the City Centre. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and continue to return due to the hospitality and the amenities cater to all our needs.
excellent location , staff and service , unfortunately there was a severe altercation and police required for a severe altercation in the hotel"pub" next door late at night disturbing the peace. it required 4 police cars to sort incident out.
other than that ,excellent service and so great to have bar drinks and nibbles in room and breakfast delivered on the am to which some hotels are doing away with. please don t lose this service.
Described as “Maisonette Suites” there are six of these fairly small rooms in the centre of Bendigo
Ideally situated for great exploration of the city.
Although small they have all that is need for one or two people.
The bathroom in our room was very small and made having a shower an exciting prospect, but it works.
Reasonably priced for its location it is recommended.
The staff here were exceptional. Very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable with good facilities. The bar/restaurant attached was friendly and the food was good. It's about a 10 minute walk into Bendigo or a short cab ride. We could hear movement from the apartment above but this was minimal and didn't affect our stay. Would recommend.
The location, room size and the beautiful old pub. Council parking around the corner accessible. Hotel Staff / and Manager did not warn us that the carpark was closed on public holidays (Australia Day). Our vehicle was locked in, lucky for us a council worker clearing bins was able to let us in and opened the roller shutter to let us out.
Really convenient location, hotel is just down the street from the centre of Bendigo, opposite a lake with some nice cafes. Lots of covered parking and easy access with a pram. The staff were really wonderful and super accomodating. The room was quiet, really big and had everything we needed.
A very lovely property with true character features. The little extras such has milk/coffee capsules/choc bars / was a bonus.
Property was very secure for my small dogs. An easy 10 minute walk to a great hotel "Brougham Arms" where they serve excellent and close to Bendigo main town.
Fantastic motel right in the middle of the Bendigo CBD, next to the Sacred Heart Cathedral. The facilities and amenities were excellent and the hotel staff proactively communicated in regards to the check-in process as it was Christmas Day. Ample parking space close to the rooms.
This place exceeded all expectations. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels/motels across Bendigo and this has been my favourite so far. The room I stayed in was really clean, the bed was comfy and I loved the outdoor area.
Our overnight stay in Bendigo was amazing. Easy to find, facilities clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for a family of 5- plenty of room. WiFi and TV facilities great.
Room was small but very comfortable, and included a balcony. The artwork throughout the hotel and rooms added to the experience. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone travelling to Bendigo.
Excellently maintained, beautiful home. So close to everything in a lovely street. Everything we needed was there! Would love to stay here every time we visit Bendigo!
