This place is magical, with its cozy yet classy feel and its beautiful access to the lake. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (not only at the reception but also at breakfast, what a great attitude they all had) , the room was clean and orderly, the buildings looked exceptionally well kept.

The whole area is perfect for any kind of vacation activity. The seeside is real alpin adria. The city is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holidays. Bigger cities like Klagenfurt or Villach with many other cultural or sport opportunities are easily accesible.

We really like the spectacular view of the surrounding mountains around the lake. Lots of hiking trails available so it's good for those who want to go for a bit outdoor.
If you are there, you have must visit Minimundus and Pyramidkogel (don't miss the slide from the top).
We were in the middle of February, and unfortunately most of the restaurants were closed, in the evening (arrount 7-8 pm) the streets are empty, only a few bars were open.
It was a shame that in Minimundos most of the buildings were covered with some protective stuff, so it was less enjoyable.

The hotel is located very close to the highway to Italy, therefore it is a great place to stop during a longer trip. However, at night the sounds of the higway were not disturbing our sleep at all. The hotel overlooks the lake, so the view is nice. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. If you travel with a dog, there are interesting sights nearby to take it for a longer walk. We liked the breakfast and its variety of choice.
Nice hotel with very friendly personal. The food was really delicious. Wide variation of tasty food at breakfast and fine dinning style dinner.
The hotel has a nice own beach area with green grass, free sunbeds and umbrellas.

The view from the balcony was fantastic! The apartment was big, comfortable. Location of the apartmenthotel was very good for us, close to highway, to main road, to Hofer, and nevertheless very quiet and calm place. There was a park in front of the building, good place for children, and a playroom too, when the weather is not so good.
The hotel is beautiful, full of art and set on a stunning lake. The property is immaculate, the service impeccable and the food delicious. They have an amazing pastry chef and wonderful breakfasts. Our room was very comfortable, huge bathroom, gorgeous views and terrace. The spa was wonderful too!
Hotel Leonstain is located within old medvieval castle so it makes that staying there is an unforgotable experience.

Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and did not get boring after a few mornings. Something for everyone from our 2 year old to us. The location is amazing and lakes access beautiful. The resort staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English and Austrian usually.
This is a really cosy hotel, run by one family, basically the owner and his wife. You can feel the individual human touch in every single detail. I was there for the Klagenfurt IronMan and being right next to the train station was great.
Spacious apartment with well equiped kitchen, great garden and the lake and Karawanken view. Guaranteed parking, perfect location. Great for a family with a small kid. You can also access the Restaurant directly from the hotel.
The Hotel is located about 3min from the lake and has a private shoreline for hotel guests. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean. The hotel garden is very pretty and quiet and invites you to have a drink or read.
The view was nice,nevertheless it was raining.The room was a little bit small,but enough for one night stay.Breakfast was not including- I realized this only on the spot. We have not eaten in hotel.
