Set in the chic residential Aventino area of Rome, San Anselmo is a 19th-century villa with garden, where breakfast is served in fine weather. It offers elegant rooms and overlooks Sant’Anselmo Church. Very charming hotel on quiet Aventin hill, we enjoyed our stay a lot. The rooms are impeccable clean and the hotel's parking space nearby very convenient for us. We went to the centre either by metro, which is cheap and convenient, or by taxi (we paid approx. EUR 7 to Piazza Venezia or EUR 10 up to Trevi Fountain - but depends also on traffic). Breakfast was sufficient for our needs and coffee as expected to be in Italy. Friendly staff!

I cannot recommend this property enough. The pictures do not do this gorgeous boutique hotel justice. The location is fantastic and the host Fanieje could not do enough for us, even checking in on us before we arrived and sending for fresh milk just so we could have coffee in the morning. Very quiet despite the central location, close to the metro station, and walking distance to all we wanted to see in a weekend. Very well-equipped kitchenette, tasteful interior design, comfortable, lovely atmosphere in general.
Charming design boutique hotel An old building near the Spanish Steps, with an antique retro elevator, a spacious room with an extra-high ceiling, and huge wooden doors. Renovated just recently with modern design and clean lines. The furniture and fittings are of a high standard. The room is clean and everything is new! The staff is lovely and courteous, responsive to all needs, and gives good advice.
The property was in a great location with easy access to taxis, the Metro, the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain and the designer shops and boutiques.

Location is ideal. Feet from the Spanish Step. Central to transportation, good restaurant options, a grocery store. I am an interior designer. Beautiful stores right outside front door. Safe to walk in every direction. The rooms very lovely. Bed was comfortable. Kitchenette a blessing and just the right size. Air conditioning was nice, cool and self-controlled. Some television options in English. Nice view of courtyard and light filled spaces.

5 star luxury boutique hotel located close to the Spanish Steps and other main tourist attractions. The staff are wonderful and went out their way to accommodate my request for early check in at 10am (after a long flight from Australia - this was very much appreciated and allowed me to refresh before a busy day of touring). Delicious a la carte breakfast menu. Lovely bathroom amenities with wonderful fragrance.
