Everything was new and spotless, the food was delicious, and the overall value is unbeatable. A huge shoutout to Madinah and the rest of the team—the people at Gorilla Leisure Lodge are among the kindest I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to make sure I was smiling from start to finish. We went gorilla trekking at Rushaga gate (amazing!) and the lodge is just a 15-minute drive away. Unlike some who have to wake up at 4 AM to drive an hour and a half on rough roads, you’re super close to everything here. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is a hidden gem thats only 15 minutes away from the gate. My only regret is that we stayed just one night. It would have been perfect to return after trekking and unwind on the porch with the beautiful mountain views. I would have loved to see the sunset and soak up more of the lodge’s serenity. Gorilla Leisure Lodge is top-notch, and the warmth of the team makes you feel right at home. I’ve already recommended it to my family, and I’d definitely come back in a heartbeat!
