the staff were really friendly! They felt like one small family, taking care of us backpackers! the property was in the heart of the city! everything going on: from street food, to night clubs! the streets are alive at the night time! completely different vibe than in the morning daytime 🤣. really hospitable- i needed directions to travel out of Kampala, and Emmanuel peter (the person on duty) helped me to get out of Kampala safely. My first time travelling to Africa and i love it! I’m still here!! haha i don’t want to leave Uganda!

I found my experience at Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz to be truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The value for the price exceeded my expectations, offering an array of activities to enjoy. The culinary offerings were exquisite, and the attentive staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I am grateful for having chosen this establishment and would highly recommend it to others seeking a memorable stay.

Our 3-bed pent house overlooked the pool and palmy garden area. The upstairs bedrooms had a fantastic view of the city spread over Kampala’s many hills. We loved everything. Facilities, ambience, food, service. Safe. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Mohammad the Ugandan waiter at the restaurant was super attentive to us. Thank you to Muhammad. We had massages and nails done by the Eric and his friendly staff at the salon. Thanks Sammy, Liz and Robin.

The apartment was brilliant - exactly the location I needed (I wanted to stay in Bukoto area), very quiet and secure (extremely safe), with all the facilities advertised. Perfect for my stay in Kampala. The host Victor was excellent at communicating (WhatsApp) and sent perfect directions. The security/manager Isaac was always on hand if needed and was very nice. All in all I can thoroughly recommend.

A bit of an odd Hotel but good, central location. Opposite a bakery which is nice for meetings or get dinner even delivered to the hotel if needed. It's luckily not noisy during the nights, just the traffic from the road when it picks up in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. More or less value for money, especially if you get a good deal, given the high hotel prices in Kampala in general.

The hotel is in a very quiet place near the Victoria lake, exacltly in the south est of Kampala. You have to be careful because there’re two places with the same name in google maps. The house is huge, it have a lot of diferents room, swimming pool and a big garden. The owners are a very good persons and attentive, they took care of us like a childs. We really felt like home. We want to come back again.

The best place to stay in Kampala. The villa is lovely with a luscious garden. The rooms are very spacious, well maintained, and super clean. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. We chose to use the services of the cook and we don't regret it! The food is delicious, authentic, Ugandan, and tasty. The staff is excellent 👌🏾 We will definitely come back 😊

We celebrated our anniversary at Onomo Hotel Kampala. The hotel staff decorated our room in a very romantic way and was kind to making our experience memorable ❤️ The staff are very professional, polite and kind. Our room was very spacious and extremely comfortable. This hotel provides very good value for money. I absolutely love it.

The best place to stay in Kampala. We always stay here when we travel through Uganda with students for a school project. The staff is amazing and really helpfull! They have great food and also good breakfast choices. The rooms are clean as well as the shared toilets and showers. The hotel has a guard at the gate which makes us feel safe.

Well equiped apartment with all you need for a comfortable stay. Appreciated the fact that it had all ammenities. Well located near the city center and public transport. Would definetely reccomend it to anyone in Kampala because of great location, coziness and all the equipment you need for a home away from home.

Simple but nice guesthouse in a nice part of Kampala. View is gorgeous from the outdoor area - lovely spot to eat the excellent included breakfast or enjoy a cup of coffee (there are nice Ugandan beans you can buy at the guesthouse pretty cheaply). Staff are nice and friendly, and check-in was super easy.

Almost everything. I stay there every time I am in Kampala. Suits me well. Location, staff room. They give me the one I asked for. I always arrive late due to flights from UK and they are ready and helpful. Porter is just great. Nice big room with shower in quiet area. I love the Speke Hotel

The hotel guests are currently staying at a sister hotel and honestly it's good given the price compared to hotels around Kampala. Would definitely recommend. Plus price was real cheaper compared to the original price of the sister hotel. My guests always requested me to book at Metropole

Very convenient to walk to hospital and university. Mall nearby. Hotel corridors quiet. Bed comfortable and nice bathroom. Generally good wifi. Only place I have stayed in Kampala and for the price was ok. I would probably stay again. Front desk was helpful.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and located very near to my work destinations. Safety measures were quite good and assuring. the view from the room was stunning and wonderful and shows the beaty of Kampala natural beauty.

The room and hotel were a total vibe and spotless as well. The English breakfast I had was very tasty and of decent portion size. The staff were extremely helpful with recommendations for getting around Kampala as well as attentive.

Joe’s Apartment can mark a good start-point for everything you could do in Uganda or Kampala. It’s a lovely place to stay, easy to reach, calm and very secure. We loved the owner and the stuff. Everyone tries to please you.

Staff where friendly and some professional in there field. Very nice Boutique Hotel with all the amenities you need for a relaxing holiday. Definitely my favorite hotel in Kampala. Laundry service was complementary 👌
