The location was excellent! We were right on the beach. There was a picnic table to sit on and watch the big waves. The sunset was spectacular! The cottage was clean, comfortable and cabin-like, with a small kitchen and living space - great for our family of 5 adults. It was so nice sleeping to the sound of the waves at night.

We got upgraded to a slightly larger cabin by the beach (Tui) as it was available and we had a 16mth old. Lots of space for the cot. Lovely cottage close to walking path to the beach. We got to see a weka just outside in the morning which was a nice suprise!

Great location right on the beach. Stayed one night in the separate cabin which was very cute and cozy with own bathroom. Had everything we needed before starting our tramp the next day. Stayed another night in the main building after we finished our hike. Had our own room with shared bathroom facilities. Kitchen well equipped and great 'hang out' space with ocean views. Overall, a great stay.
