A stunning place to stay. Hospitality was amazing. Rhonda and Max are so kind and provide everything that you could possibly need. The cottage is so cozy and comfortable. Thank you for looking after us. Couldn't have asked for more!
I went to Picton for a night to catch up with friends and do some running with my little dog . the Gables was a perfect spot within easy walking distance of the bars and restaurants and dog friendly which was perfect . the cottage was warm and cosy and well appointed. Elisabeth was lovely and everything was great! will come back.
The host was really friendly and met us on arrival. The place was spacious yet cosy which was lovely as the weather was terrible. The pool was freezing cold but fantastic and long enough to swim some laps. Then we rewarded ourselves with a soak in the hot tub. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again
We arrived on a rainy day, but we had so much to do in the lodge. There was a hot spa, a ping pong and a pool table, darts, piano and a tv room. Our family room was very cosy and tidy. We were spoiled with delicious freshly baked scones for breakfast and the lovely French girl made a tiramisu dessert. What a great experience, the owners were wonderful and created such a nice and friendly place to stay. Thank you!
Elisabeth was amazing! She went out of her way to give us a lovely breakfast on the day we left early to do the Charlotte Sound Hike, then welcomed us when we returned 2 days later with a sympathetic glass of wine for us weary and sore hikers! Lovely cottage and exceptional staff - especially Elisabeth!
We loved the welcoming courtyard as we entered the complex. Once inside Apartment No 2 the quaint, cosy furnishings and electric fireplace were a delight as were the beautifully made up beds. The well thought out kitchen also added to our stay.
