The gas heater provided kept the tent cosy. A gas BBQ is available for use, and there is an there is an unlimited gas supply for heating and cooking during the stay. The staff were very friendly and keen to make sure that we were warm and comfortable enough. Even provided toy laser guns, which the kids enjoyed running around the woods with.

A great location with great hosts. There has been a lot of love put into this location and we used the hot tubs for 2 days and that was very enjoyable. Wes and Zara made us feel very welcome and couldn’t have done any more for us. The stars on a clear night were something else! And lots of things within close distance. Highly recommend! We managed to go on the coldest weekend of the year so far and we weren’t prepared enough so definitely take lots of warm clothes and layers if going off season!

Everything! This was our 3rd stay & Zara & Wesley went above & beyond in looking after us as always, they are a charming & friendly couple. The woodland is beautiful, full of birds singing, the hot tub was magical, like a fairyland with the little lights around it! We had a hot tub in a thunderstorm on the 2nd night & it was exciting 😄 It was so romantic to come out of the hot tub & cook a vegan feast on the open fire after.Slept like a log both nights thankyou.

The staff were lovely, especially the lady, very chatty, friendly and helpful. Showed us around and told us where the important things were straight away. The hot tub is amazing. When we first arrived, we got in it cold as it was so hot outside, but once warmed by the log fire, it was amazing. The pictures you can get of the smoke with the light shining through, brilliant.

Cottage was lovely and served our needs very well, its more modern inside than the photos on Booking.com suggest so this was a welcome surprise. Very well stocked with basic amenities (dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper, olive oil, toilet roll, kitchen roll etc.). Host made an effort to greet us and was very friendly. The only slight downside was the shower was a bit spluttery and didn't hold a consistent temperature but this was minor in comparison to a fab stay. Thank you.

Magical woodland. Tents big and comfortable. Just so natural and back to nature. Charging station a welcome surprise for our teens who we had warned may not have electricity. Zip wire a lot of fun for younger kids. Hot tub amazing g as always..... Service excellent. But...dont expect luxury....you benefit most from wanting to be self sufficient....the warden will gladly lend you a saw so you can chop your own firewood....its a really lovely experience Darell is friendly and accommodating. He took us on a glow worm tour....so special x
