Everything was very clean, modern and comfortable with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. We were impressed that the smallest things had been thought of such as providing dishwasher tablets and a range of different teas etc.

Everything about this Inn was fantastic. Very popular with walkers & dog owners. Our dogs loved it here. Our room was warm and cosy, plus the dogs loved looking out the window. The food was outstanding both nights, our dinner was excellent and breakfast was the best I'd had in a long time.

The location is away from town so you need transport to get there. The weather wasn't great during our stay but there are great views of the countryside, with a view of Derwent reservoir. The rooms were comfortable; cereal and cooked breakfast for breakfast although staff were not ready to serve breakfast at 8 o'clock as stated in the room information. We had an evening meal which was beautifully presented, tasty and good value.

We needed a local place for a couple of weeks, & this apartment more than met our needs. Cosy, comfortable, just right for resting up in front of the TV. Stayed Nov/Dec, so weather was cold/wet/snow but we were warm. Good size bathroom, good shower, plenty of hot water. Only used the kitchen for cereal prep/sandwiches/coffee so we didn't use the oven/hob. Apartment was larger than expected. Easy parking just across the road (via pedestrian crossing).

The atmosphere was lovely, I felt very welcome. The owners did everything to comfort me and were very helpful. Good breakfast, just the way I wished and it was fresh made. Stunning view out of the window of my room. In the evening dinner near the fireplace, what more could I wish.

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. Ground floor living area was spacious and had access to an outdoor seating area where the stream running alongside the cottage could be enjoyed.
