Food was great in Hai Phong. With a wide variety catering to other nationality. Seafood is still the freshest in Hai Phong but it is not my cup of tea. Hai Phong is more famous for it ship building and metal industries. So metal parts are normally cheaper in Hai Phong.

Not what you would really call a tourist destination though there are a few places nearby such as the Opera House, Pagoda and near to Halong bay (45 km.

Hai Phong has virtually no tourist infrastructure and it very difficult to figure the place out. A lot of Internet references lead you to places that don't exist at the address mentioned. Finding food was challenging. No one speaks English. There really isn't a lot to look at anyway. Colonial quarter is nice sort of but there are better examples in Hanoi, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh city to name a few.
We found one brilliant restaurant. Best we found in Vietnam by a long way. It was called Nam Giao (22 Le Dai Hanh st). Go there if you are in town. You'll be blown away. Great beers on tap as well.

If you’re looking for a real Vietnamese city adventure, Hai Phong should be on your list. We literally saw no tourists. Everything is pure and the city has a couple of cool sights. The food is great and the cheapest of whole Vietnam.
An interesting, unusual and calming collection of small containers set over two levels which give rise to a Homestay, meeting place/study and cafe. Lots of plants so the greenery softens the structures.
Local interest of Miếu Trung Hành & Chùa Hưng Khánh, an ancient Temple and relics restored in the 17th Century. Striaght across the road are several eating places leading to a massive market which has a road specialising in flowers. There is a cafe onsite at the residence. A good bus service into Hai Phong itself is close by.
My experience there was exceptional amazing. The hotel is right in the middle of the city, many restaurants, cafeterias, stores just right next doors and across the street. Staff including the receptionist, housekeeper, guard, everyone were super friendly and helpful. This hotel is very new, even we could smell the new furniture and all the facilities are modern and look like brand new items. Very spacious rooms. I was surprised that the prices were totally affordable. Absolutely come back next time.
Every month when I go on a business trip, I stay at a hotel. The first time I go on a business trip, I booked on the app, but the next time I just called and the hotel also kept a room at a preferential price for me. The hotel is convenient for me to go to work and travel, eat, drink, go out. The staff are also friendly and enthusiastic. If you don't know anything, just ask the receptionist for advice!!
The hotel is located near the airport, dining and entertainment centers. First time experiencing this hotel, the price is affordable but the quality is excellent, the bed is very soft, beyond my expectations. Although the room is not large, the interior layout makes the room more usable while still ensuring a comfortable space. Thank you to the hotel and staff for giving me a wonderful experience.

I went to Hai Phong on the coldest days of the year but you guys, Ms. Huyen - receiption, Flame restaurant. Ms. Tram Anh - 22/2/2022, Mr. Huan - 21/2/2022, and all your nice staff made my day as warm as coming home.
staff already communicated with me the day before my arrival and she greeted me when I arrived. It's the appartment so it's much bigger than hotel and have kitchen and cooking facilities including some utensils but not fully stocked kitchen. Staff is super friendly and give advise and help whatever they can.
The hotel is located in the center of Hai Phong city, so it is very convenient to travel, the room is air-conditioned and fully equipped, there is a 24-hour front desk, so wherever you want to go, what to eat, they will support you very conveniently.
