The location is good on the northwest outskirts of Los Angeles, and is in a nice neighbourhood. The included WiFi is good. The included shower gel and shampoo is good. The USB socket by the bed is good for phone charging. Almost opposite is a good restaurant called The Six.

A fresh, modern hotel! Reception staff happy to move us to a new room when we complained about noise from floor above. Restaurant served excellent food.

Feces backed up into the sink.
Feces backed up into the sink. They fixed the problem the morning following the evening of discovery but did not clean the sink. The front desk was not concerned with making that bad situation better. Fixing the problem was important to them the next day but compensation for the disgusting inconvenience was nowhere on the to do list.

It was a terrific location where we felt safe & enjoyed the neighborhood for walking. Breakfast was so generous each morning. I got a great tan at the pool. Fitness Center had just the right amount of equipment. Such nice staff!
Clean, modern and comfortable hotel. Great stop after a long drive down 101 from San Francisco. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bathroom was clean and spacious. The hotel has food and bar available and is convenient to several restaurants within a quick drive. The quick drive to the Malibu area makes it an affordable option if you are visiting the area. Breakfast was included with coffee and small items from the restaurant in the lobby.
We expected more from Marriot at this time in the Covid timeline. We have stayed at other hotels who served eggs, sausage, pancakes, and more as the kitchen help loaded up our plates. What you charge per night and what you get in the way of breakfast, no microwave and bad lighting, Marriott needs to step up and do much better even during Covid.
We like the grounds and amenities.
I entered the room and handed it over to them about an hour later, the reason for handing it over to me was that the items և the conditions that should have been at least minimal, do not exist. And there was no convenient place near the hotel for me to buy at my own expense. Or why should I buy, for which I paid almost twice as much?
I really like all the amenities that aren’t the norm at other hotel. I.e. The full functional kitchen including kitchen sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove top, pots & pans. Real Silverware, glassware, and a full size refrigerator and freezer. This is my favorite place to stay whenever I visit Agoura.
I was delightfully surprised by the hotel ... a great room - a proper bed - super comfortable and the staff was fantastic - even got to enjoy the jacuzzi!!!! I'd stay there again if I am in town.
