An absolute win to travel in an off season, the staff was no less invested but I could enjoy the wellness and common spaces in peace. The room had a magic view of the mountains, was top-notch clean, with lovely comfy duvets and big soft pillows.

Breakfast was awesome. The hotel includes many leisure activities like a pool, sauna, billiard, and bowling. There were many options on the dinner menu. It is great that you can buy for 5Euros full-day ski pass for the whole valley.

Old style mountain hotel might not suit everyone, but if you are a regular hiker, you would be satisfied!
Note we stayed in a two floor room for 4/5 people - no problem, but you might need different kind of accomodation, just ask in advance, hotel seems big enough.

Very nice place to stay. You can enjoy slovak food in few restaurants here or you can buy slovak cheese in local shops. You can enjoy nice view from the tower above Terchova on one side or you can visit the statue of Janosik on the other side of the hills.

Close to nearby tourist attractions related to Janosik and folklore. First of all, close to the trails to Mala Fatra. There are enough restaurants with a variety of dishes. Everyone will find something for himself. You can freely move around the town and the surrounding area by car, bicycle or public transport. Depending on what you like, from morning to evening you can spend time on the tourist routes, stop somewhere for a meal, coffee with a cake, relax on a bench and admire the wonderful scenery.

Terchová is a great location for hikers.
Terchová is a great location for hikers. Close by is a ski centre Vratna, so it’s great in the summer and winter. We visited summer folk festival Janosikove Dni, which we thoroughly recommend. There is plenty of restaurants, cafe’s and two supermarkets.
Perfect base for exploring the area of Terchova, Chleb and Janosikove Diery. Comfortable room and bathroom. Wonderful balcony with views to mountains. Large, comfortable bed. Easy check-in and check-out. Wonderful breakfast with eggs, cheeses, bread, cereal etc. Great hosts. Good location - easy free and private parking. Biely potok is a 12 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. Noise levels were low. Accommodation is on the first or second floor - if you are carrying large suitcases.
Beautiful lodge in the village near by Terchova.
Very nice wooden finish in the whole apartment. Private entry. Good useful kitchen. Enough storage room. Lamps and sockets near by bed. TV. Place provided towels, and cleaning products in bathroom as well as in the kitchen. Warm duvet, comfortable pillows.
The breakfast was delicious. The lady serving breakfast was very helpful and nice.

The apartment consists of one bedroom, kitchen/living room and the bathroom. The kitchen was equipped so we were able to prepare some simple meals. There was even a small TV and a sofa. The house is located a little but further from the center of Terchova but as we had a car, it wasn't a problem. The owners were really nice and friendly.
I can definitely recommend staying in Chata Terchová for even 6-8 people, including kids. Good location, close to hiking trails. Clean house, really good equipped kitchen and barbecue area. Our host was really nice and helpful. He was waiting for us so we could meet right on time. Easy check-in and check-out. Absolutely good choice!
Location is perfect to go hiking - the trail starts directly next to the hotel. Room was big enough for family with the baby, comfortable beds, nice view from the balcony. Super tasty breakfast. Restaurant in the same building with local cuisine - big portions, meals are good to have after the hike. Spa is just great😊
Outstanding hotel location with spectacular view. I recommend to order a very good and tasteful buffet dinner. Nice and cosy hotel in the middle of nice nature close to waterfalls and cable car. Hotel staff is very accommodating and swimming pool is very good opportunity to relax after mounting trip.
We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Diery and will definitely be coming back. The room was comfortable and came with everything you needed, and even came with a nice balcony with a great view. The breakfast and dinner at the attached restaurant were both delicious.

Close to main mountain tracks from Terchova, tidy and cosy room with full equipment :) Hosts are very nice and helpfull.
There is a Ping pong table, dart, chess etc. and place for barbeque as well.

The hotel is perfectly located for people who enjoy mountain hiking. Our apartment was spacious with king size bed. In addition, the apartment was equipped in small fridge but sufficient. The breakfast was tasty and well prepared, including coffee machine.
Very good value for money. Not in the center of Terchova or the main hiking routes, but these are very close by car. There is a pizza place just a few hundred meters away, which was convenient, as we arrived quite late on the first day.
The staff was very nice, the room was clean and spacious enough for two. The statue of Janošík is in the frontof the hotel, all the interesting places of Terchová were very close. Worth its price. We have enjoined our stay very much.
The owner of the place came personally to hand over the property and was very helpful at all times. The location is amazing as it is right in Terchová but close to many nice places in Orava.
