This place was very tasteful and its location surrounded by mountains was lovely. We loved how nice the staff was. We really felt at home. It was very clean and seemed all new. The sauna and wellness room was amazing too and in general this was a great value for money.

We were looking for a fully equipped apartment close enough to Mała Fatra - and this option fulfilled our demand. Nice and helpful owner, parking place, grocery shops nearby and mountains of course :-) It is a very good option for those who love mountain trekking (we even did dog-trekking as doga were also allowed here, but paid extra). Overall - we do recommend coming here

An absolute win to travel in an off season, the staff was no less invested but I could enjoy the wellness and common spaces in peace. The hotel is in a convenient location and everything you can think of is arranged for your maximum comfort whether you are on a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

Great location, friendly and flexible staff, very good dinner (have to order in advance!)/breakfast included, big parking lot. Old style mountain hotel might not suit everyone, but if you are a regular hiker, you would be satisfied! Note we stayed in a two floor room for 4/5 people - no problem, but you might need different kind of accomodation, just ask in advance, hotel seems big enough.

Hotel Gold is situated in the centre of Terchová just next to the sports and wellness centre with views of the National Park and a statue of Juraj Jánošík-Slovak national hero.

Exceeded our expectation. For 3 stars it offered 4,5 star accommodation and BREAKFAST!!! The room had a magic view of the mountains, was top-notch clean, with lovely comfy duvets and big soft pillows. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this great value for money hotel if you just want to have a great time hiking in a lovely village with great restaurants.

Breakfast was awesome. The hotel includes many leisure activities like a pool, sauna, billiard, and bowling. There were many options on the dinner menu. It is great that you can buy for 5Euros full-day ski pass for the whole valley.
