A family-run hotel, the Diery is 1.5 km away from the centre of Terchova. It is set on the Janosikove Diery tourist route with waterfalls and narrow canyons. We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Diery and will definitely be coming back. The room was comfortable and came with everything you needed, and even came with a nice balcony with a great view. The breakfast and dinner at the attached restaurant were both delicious.

Location is amazing - right in the center, staff is very nice, the facilities match what I expected so good value for money, there's an AC which I used (some places don't have any..), it's clean (you can put a sign whenever you want and they clean the room perfectly), I also took breakfast for extra 5 euro and it was very nice (it's very cozy and home like :) they ask you how you want your eggs and prepare them for you :) will definitely come back in the future.

I traveled there to run Tatra Orava Trail which starts in the city of Tvrdošín. The start of the race is literally across the street from the hotel. There is Lidl supermarket next to the hotel which was convenient. The hotel was visibly after renovation and clean. The breakfast was nice with plenty options for everyone (coffee, milk, yoghurts, cereals, eggs, cheese, bread...) There is a good public transport (buses to mountains and train) for tourists traveling without a car.

I was in Oravsky Podzamok to visit Orava Castle, and this hotel is an excellent spot for visiting it, plus it has a great view. The room itself was clean and spacious, and I was happily surprised to see a little kitchenette and equipment! And lastly, I thought it was very nice of the hotel to provide guide books for this region and Orava Castle, as well as local takeaway menus. It was very helpful!

This is a superb and very comfortable apartment in the very center of tiny, quiet Oravsky Podzamok. We could see Orava Castle from our room and of course it was a short way to walk there or anywhere else in town. You can park your car easily in front of the building. The host is nice and friendly and met us in a second as soon as we called.
Námestovo
The hosts made everything possible for a wonderful stay, even got us a christmas tree and toys for our little son. Everything was spotless clean. There were coffee beans, tea and all the tools for cooking right available. So we enjoyed the apartment right from the beginning. For us it was the best stay in Orava so far
Trstená
Very good location close to the Orava Lake, as well as another larger city Namiestovo. Walking distance to some higher hills easy to climb but with very good views. Perfect place to stay for some sport activity near by as well as to go sightseeing deeper in Slovakia.

nice hotel in country style, great location with a nice view on Orava dam, great starting point for one day trips, clean swimming pool in the area, not many people accomodated during our stay, live music on friday evening, very tasteful meals in the hotel restaurant
The localization by the shore of Orava’s dam with a beautiful view to the landscape. There is a small wharf close to the hotel where you can take a boat trip. Comfortable bed with clean sheets and tide up room. Rich breakfast.

Perfect location with parking option. The apartment was recently renovated so everything is new, with kitchen and nice bathroom. Good communication and easy check in and check out. Good wifi! Perfect location for Orava Castle!

Very comfortable apartment only 5-minutes walk from the Orava Castle.
The room was nice and clean, the location quiet and the restaurant food delicious. There was parking available as well as a wellness facility and a breakfast buffet, so we had all we needed for a 1 night stay. All in all we had a pleasant experience.
Beautiful accommodation, spacious rooms, very clean, great location (3 min walk to closest bus stop, 10 min walk to Terchova centrum bus stop), welcoming staff. Wellness was in great shape, easy to book (1 hour ahead), 4 different saunas, indoor and outdoor hot tub and some more. Grocery store 5 min walk, post office and hospital center nearby. 3 different playgrounds for kids, mini zoo with sheep, basketball/soccer court and more. Breakfast was amazing, huge and tasty selection and the hotel restaurant was generally great - delicious food and really good beer that they make in the brewery Vrsky there. If we go to Terchova again, we are definitely booking Drevenice resort.
This is a wonderful place in every way. Environment, service, room, food - perfect. Not to mention that the house is surrounded by views of perfect beauty. Around close to wonderful hiking trails. There is a parking place, a cafe bar. Quiet, cozy.
