Spisska Nova Ves a middle size town with historic center and largest oval-type square in Europe. Catholic church's tower in SNV is tallest one in middle Europe. Looks like a nice village, unfortunately the hotel I stayed in (Venusa) scam me for 8.10 euro.
Stay with them 4 times and always had the same breakfast (ham eggs, coffee, small butter for the bread) nothing out of the ordinary. The breakfast suppose to be included with the room. Last time I stayed, they decided to scam me and charged me for the breakfast the ridiculous 8.10 euros.
I was loyal and repeated customer, but after what happen to me, I will not be back to that hotel Venusa or Spisska Nova Ves. You scam me only once. You should be ashamed of your self and cleanup of these establishment should be in order. Don't go there! Find better place.

Spissky is a small town with an historic centre adjacent to the Slovensky Raj National Park. This is a great area for walking with marked trails ranging from easy to difficult.
The Town has many old buildings and a very helpful tourist information. It is also convenient for Spissky Hrad (castle) and Levoca

Cozy ,beautiful Place with a nice location around a park with a theatre, and a Church. A lot of Nice small restaurants to dine in. A few of them also abillity to sit outside and anjoy the city. Short distance from other Nice Places to se, as Tatras in Poprad, Bardejov, Kosice ++
Highly recommended if you like to Escape the tourisme.

Getting in touch with the host was quick and easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Even though the windows were oriented towards the busy street and downtown, they provided enough of acoustic isolation, so there was no disturbance during the night sleep. Free and secure parking was available in the backyard and easily accessible - which is not very common for many European hotels, especially in the centers of historical cities. This was mine second stay in this apartment and I will come back again.
Very big rooms generally, beds are very comfortable, clean bathrooms. Nice selection at the breakfast despite the fact there is almost no change in the variety if you are staying for the couple days. So you generally eat the same variations all the time which might be bit annoying honestly speaking after 2-3 days. However hotel itself is generally very good.
A spacious, clean room, fully equipped (TV, wifi, large bathroom). Very quiet despite being located over a restaurant in the centre of the town. Parking in the street right in front of the hotel. Use the restaurant - it serves good food and prices are great, including tap beer. A perfect base when visiting this part of Slovakia.
it was an enjoyable stay. the hosts are lovely and did everything to accommodate us. The place is close to a couple of restaurants and a shop. It's a 5-minute drive to Spisska Nova Ves, also very close to hiking locations at Slovensky Raj.

Clean and large enough rooms, comfortable beds, good temperature in winter. The hotel is close to the city and the ice hall. The cuisine is excellent, you can choose 3 dishes daily menu for 18 Eur, not cheap but fine. The abundant breakfast is made of quality ingredients and with a large selection.
Best place to stay for sleeping in Spiska during Helicopter Boogie for skydivers. But not only. This hotel is in the very downtown.
Best Staff, best catering, breakfast a'la carte, but really very good. No problem with accommodation during check-in, even if you come later. I will come back.
This accommodation was booked for my parents who wanted to explore Spisska Nova Ves. They liked its very central location - near the main square. It was a quiet, clean and comfortable studio on the ground floor. It had a kitchenette so they could make a coffee. They enjoyed their stay.
The Staff was very very nice. I don’t think that I would have felt more comfortable around this area anywhere else else. The communication was brilliant and very helpful.
Would recommend this to anyone looking for staying in Spisska Nova Ves.
The room was clean and very nice - I did not expect such a nice room. The location is in very center of the city with private parking on the property which was free of charge. I will book the same hotel when I am around.

Amazing location and a beautiful room. I wholeheartedly recommend this business if you're planning to stay in Spišská Nová Ves. The business is situated literally in the town square so nothing is ever too far away.
I was treated better than in a 5-star hotel. Excellent location in the city center. Yet, it was a quiet place, I had a good rest. Many opportunities for extra services either free or for very reasonable price.
The hotel feels like you stepped back into the 1960s but it is well maintained. The staff were efficient although not overly friendly. The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant meals were great.
Check-in, contactless, easy. At any time. Very helpful. Location is great within Spisska Nova Ves, property is on the main square, largest oval square in Europe.
