Maria was friendly and helpful. When we told her we felt we would not be comfortable because the room was to warm, and had no A/C she agreed we could go elsewhere without any issue. We are thankful for that.Great location and rooms appeared to be clean and comfortable except for the warmth.

We liked everything. The apartment even exceeded our expectations. The host was very nice and very kind. There was a big yard for our 2 dogs. The apt. itself was quiet big. There was a big kitchen with the living room (big open space). There were 3 rooms but 2 of the rooms were together (no doors). We mainly choose this apartment becasue we were there with 2 bigger dogs. It is a pet friendly palce to stay.

We got a huge. I say huge, very clean historic room with marvellous interior. Have never seen anything like it before, a pearl. Very nice man in the reception who led us to the room and gave us the information we needed. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Modern big bathroom. View over the historic square from the room windows. Plenty of parking just outside the front door (free evenings and night as I remember). Quiet area.
Being local to Smizany all my expectations were highly exceeded, this place is one of a kind and the owners are exceptionally kind and accommodating.
We had guests coming from different countries, some with very late arrivals and the host was willing to wait to check us in until late night hours.
The apartments were so cozy and comfortable, they instantly made us feel at home.

The family running this place is absolutely great. They did their best so that we feel well and welcomed on our vacation. Self service beer on tap, great breakfasts, lots of kind words and words of advice. The place is very nice, looks very new and clean. The rooms are large enough and cozy. One of the most interesting tracks in Slovenský ráj ends just bellow the hotel which is super convenient.
We visited after 2 weeks of reopening (Aug. 2021) this fully renovated, charming lodge. Simple, yet stylish room with comfy beds and huge smart screen. Services (half board, wellness pool) can be reached at the co-owned hotel 200 m away. We spotted grazing fawns while coming back from having breakfast - they had breakfast too...
The local cuisine at dinners was great.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception was open 24/7 and the receptionist was very nice person always ready to help. Hotel also made sure it's warm inside because heating was already turned on which we appreciated after long hiking during the day. The breakfast was also tasty and a car park was spacious as well.
Hotel has great terrace with big table, billiard and even small minigolf. Rooms was clean and in good condition. Location is in quiet district of town, there is a good restaurants and pizzeria neighbourhood. Overall it is good choice to stay there if you want to visit Slovenskj Raj national park.

Hotel was exceptional! Spotless rooms with comfy atmosphere. Absolutely loved it. The best of it all was the owner. Such a loving and caring lady doing her best to keep the place busy and running! I will be returning for sure!
