The room was really big and comfortable! I loved the breakfast with a lot of yummy options, and the pool was really nice. The hotel also has an agreement with a beach club that allowed us to go in with a discounted price, and with free transport :)

The biggest negative point is the exit from the airport. People stand at the arrivals door and intimidate tourists, offering abusive prices for taxis or vans, and they follow people wherever they go. They simply do not accept "no". A horrible experience.

Its all about the beach.
Its all about the beach. However the city itself has all the major stores anyone would need for anything. As far as the hostel goes, its a 5-7 min. walk to Chedraui Selecto Mercado. Its the best that Mexico can offer and its awesome.

nice to visit if you want to go to beach or archeological sites, such as Tulum or Chichen Itza. otherwise, its just another overpriced (super overpriced) resort area with constant traffic and noise. people are indifferent to tourists and their poor service reflects it. We were super surprised as we are natural born Mexicans living in the US, and expected service would be good since there is no language barrier. nope. service sucked most places. Tourists abound and they know most will tip regardless. we rented a car and drove everywhere . overall, people are nice unless you are buying something from them, or at restaurant. the farther you go from Cancun, the nicer the people are. Beaches were nice , but again, expect to pay more than you budgeted. hard to be positive about paying $50 for 2 beers and one order of calamari with fries at roadside diner. plus tip. we had flat tire on desolate main road and people helped. beware of super cheap car rental fares offered. they fail to tell you insurance is Mandatory (even if your CC covers the damage waiver) it still sets you back $200-300 USD additional for car insurance (5 days) . and its NOT optional. i printed the letter from my CC company specifically detailing the coverage for this trip. it saved me on only $45. we spent overall about $3K, and it would have been better spent in Puerto Vallarta, or similar.

In August, it is too hot, we cant really enjoy the beach that much. The water had too much algae as well. Chizen Itza tour is good , just the store they stop at is overpriced. Bit difficult to get Vegetarian food.

People is amazing, but the airport is really bad.
People is amazing, but the airport is really bad. They make me cancel an Uber that actually was legal, but they claimed it wasn't. Taxis try to charge 100 USD for a ride to the center, and they say the bus charge 50 USD that is not true. The renting car companies does not have contactless payment, so better book cars outside the airport.

Its our first time and the people were very mean and unfriendly... everywhere you go the service is in efficient and poor .... getting around was very bad and there is no law driving on the road even the sidewalk is not even safe to walk

Absolutely DO NOT recommend. 100% disappointed. Worst value for money in Cancun. Absolutely shocking breakfast. Scamming taxi services. We visit Cancun all the time for work. Would DEFINITELY NOT RETURN.
AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR HOLIDAYS!!! DEFINITELY AVOID FOR A NIGHT BEFORE A FLIGHT.
We are still waiting for our transfer to take us to the hotel, they ignored it. So we could get scammed by the taxis at the airport.
Absolutely everything was fantastic, spectacular and perfect- accommodation, choice of all inclusive food (Asian, Mexican, Italian, Seafood, Healthy, American restaurants + bars + bistros). Staff are super friendly. In comparison with the European 5stars hotel, this is very ration of quality and price!!! The complex is very safe and not located directly in the Cancún city. There were every day programs and also time for relaxation.
The accommodation is wonderful and really hidden gem in Cancun. Monica and her staff are really great and extremely friendly! Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. This was first hotel of our 3 week Holliday in Mexico and I hope all other hotels will be like this!!

Good hotel if you have a early morning flight from Cancun Airport. The hotel has free shuttle service every 30 min. Standard of the hotel was good, the public areas were very clean and with every amenities you need.
