The location was excellent set within the old city walls.
The bed was comfy and has a functional kitchen with lots of crockery and good quality pans etc, has a dishwasher as well.
The house was lovely with tiled floors and rooftop terrace. Has a washing machine but unfortunately no detergent.
Has a table and chairs and 2 sunbeds on the roof terrace, lovely sitting up there in the evening.

This was our first staying in the hotel and we would like to say big thanks to Jelena from the front desk who was extremely helpful during check in and check out process. Check in started with the welcome drink and Jelena explained us the facilities and provided breakfast information. Upon check out, Jelena took our luggage, booked a taxi to the airport - all very smooth and with a smile. This lady made us feel very welcome and she deserves extra credits. As far room is concerned, it was very clean and spacious with coffee/tea facilities. Air conditioning was working well and it was not noisy. We also liked the pool but here some improvements are needed (see below). Breakfast was tasty with plenty options to choose from. Thumbs up to the breakfast staff - young blond lady (I think she spoke Dutch with some guests) who served us each morning - very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect - close to the sea, shops and restaurant. Yes, there are constructions nearby but hotel provides this information on their website so there should be no surprises or complaints. In fact, there are plenty constructions in the area. We would be happy to come back to the hotel.

A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within the walls of the city for the nighttime experience. It became the silent city. not a lot to see, but what is there was interesting.
Rabat is literally a short walk across a pedestrian friendly bridge with lots of activity.
Certainly Mdina is worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing place with the best views across the...
Absolutely amazing place with the best views across the island. There's so much history to see and experience and loads of choice for food. Definitely wander out of the main gate and over to Crystal Palace for the best Pastizzi, and Fontanella's on the city wall is a must.
Very spacious and very well equipped property. Loved the uniqueness of the layout and in the height of summer the pool area was an excellent facility to be able to enjoy. It felt like we were living in a part of Mdina's history.
As a base for visiting Malta, Mdina is ideally placed, with taxis and local buses easy to pick up from the main gate.
Peter and his staff couldn't be more helpful throughout the duration of our stay.
Our stay was 8 nights for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. They ordered taxis, restaurants, arranged guided tours around Valletta and dropped us each day at the pool. The hotel was exceptional, with lots of history and was in the walled city of Mdina. It had everything you needed, including a Michelin Star restaurant with an amazing view and a pleasant bistro set in a courtyard.
Overall, the hotel excels in providing a luxurious and relaxing environment. The owner greeted me at the door. The check in process was 5 star. You are welcomed in seated given a tasty local beverage while the owner explains the layout and history of the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is also 5 star the scallops were amazing the Amberjack was good. The room was great very comfortable bedding. The heated floors in the bathroom were great.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, top notch! It’s a boutique hotel so the owners and staff are very personable and cater to your needs. We were treated amazingly from arrival at the airport to check out. Our suite was beautifully decorated and luxurious. We were sad to leave. My family and I will definitely stay here on our next trip to Malta.

At PLazzo Bifora we had an incredible stay our room the staff and restaurant all exceeding our expectations. We spent a relaxing afternoon on the rooftop terrace enjoying the pool and views of Mdina

We loved staying behind the walls of the Mdina gate. Such a unique experience and location. The room was always clean, fresh water every time they cleaned the room, staff was great and the De Mondion restaurant was SO good. Definitely a special meal. The pool was so nice to come back to and relax.
The hotel is in an amazing and unique location inside the walls of Mdina, which makes it feel very special. We were travelling with our 18 month old, and the staff were extremely helpful and understanding. They went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable with a toddler.
Beautiful and comfortable hotel hidden in the alleyways of Mdina. The owners of the hotel were very kind and gracious, going above and beyond to provide for a pleasant stay. There was a rooftop with views of the city and a pool. Breakfast was very good as well.
