We used 2 rooms to prepare for our wedding in Rabat. The hotel is amazing with amazing views. I wished to have maltese history as part of our photoshoot and this hotel was the only one that ticked all the boxes.. I loved our rooms and my photos came out perfect ☺️

This was an exceptional hotel with the friendliest staff. The hotel was beautiful, especially the bifora windows. The small but impactful gestures were appreciated like the chocolates left in our room each day. The staff always greeted us with a smile. The food was just as good as everything else. The experience of staying here felt bespoke and was very peaceful given its location in the silent city of Mdina. Highly recommended.

The views from the sea view rooms were fabulous. Breakfast is abundant with a nice choice. We had a fabulous dinner drinks and service in Giuseppes. The food was also nice in Veccha Napoli. The two pools were gorgeous and we were there at the beginning of May and there were tons of sun loungers although one of the pool bars was not open the adult one did open at some point during our stay and I could not rate the staff and drinks highly enough.
The hotel is nice and quiet. The spa facilities were also nice.

Everything was great, if we found any inconvenience it was immediately solved by the wonderful staff. I would like to mention Ioana and Khalil who did the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The sea view is exceptional and location is really great as well. Many options for restaurants and cafés in Marina and the neighboring corinthia hotels too.
The possibility to enjoy our breakfast directly by the sea at the breakfast buffet is magical.

Absolutely amazing place with the best views across the island. There's so much history to see and experience and loads of choice for food. Definitely wander out of the main gate and over to Crystal Palace for the best Pastizzi, and Fontanella's on the city wall is a must.

Mdina is nice for a few hours but there’s not a lot to do if you have done all the museums, cathedrals and archaeological sites in other parts of Malta and Gozo as we had done.
It’s very historical with lovely glassware and silver jewellery in the quaint little shops.
It was a nice place to chill out after a hectic few days elsewhere on Malta.

A truly spectacular ancient small walled city.
A truly spectacular ancient small walled city.
The downside of this being the sheer number of tourists, however in the early morning or latter in the evening when they have left it has a serenity , it is wonderful then to just wander the ancient streets.
This place is a hidden gem in Mdina with an amazing host. We spent our engagement day and night at Palazzo Bifora and we couldn’t wish for anything better than this. Lovely infrastructure and decoration, beautiful rooms and detailed amenities. The rooftop has an amazing view, a heated pool and a great bar for snacks and drinks. The breakfast is truly delicious and the host accomodated the time because we had to leave earlier to catch our flight. If you ever are in Malta, don’t look anywhere else, this is the best place to stay.
Everything was exceptional - to the faultless staff who made us feel so special and welcome, the well appointed room with big terrace (sunrise and countryside views) and hot tub jacuzzi. The location was fantastic, so accessible yet private at the same time and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. The on-site restaurant is the best we’ve had dining in Malta and again the staff went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible. We were so sad when we had to leave!
Very spacious and very well equipped property. Loved the uniqueness of the layout and in the height of summer the pool area was an excellent facility to be able to enjoy. It felt like we were living in a part of Mdina's history.
As a base for visiting Malta, Mdina is ideally placed, with taxis and local buses easy to pick up from the main gate.
Peter and his staff couldn't be more helpful throughout the duration of our stay.
Xara Palace is an absolute gem in historic Mdina! The staff were super kind. Valentina welcomed us and made sure we were comfortably ensconced in our room. Jackie at the restaurant was so friendly and kind as were the other staff. All the staff are super friendly and professional. The location and the lovely building with its spectacular views made for a memorable experience.
The owner greeted me at the door. The check in process was 5 star. You are welcomed in seated given a tasty local beverage while the owner explains the layout and history of the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is also 5 star the scallops were amazing the Amberjack was good. The room was great very comfortable bedding. The heated floors in the bathroom were great.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, top notch! It’s a boutique hotel so the owners and staff are very personable and cater to your needs. We were treated amazingly from arrival at the airport to check out. Our suite was beautifully decorated and luxurious. We were sad to leave. My family and I will definitely stay here on our next trip to Malta.
The view from the terrace was stunning and a great place to eat breakfast which was also amazing! The staff were lovely and the building it just stunning! Walking around Mdina at night was beautiful so staying in the city walls made you feel like you lived there. I would come back in a heartbeat.
I liked it was within the gates of Mdina. This boutique hotel is very new maintaining the historical elements of the building. The rooms were all different and charming named after streets in Mdina. The proprietors were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious.
Lovely hotel with a perfect location in the old town, a wonderful onsite Trattoria (went there repeatedly), and most of all, a staff which were accommodating, extremely pleasant and polite, efficient and effective -- i.e., perfect. This was a truly wonderful stay
Beautiful and comfortable hotel hidden in the alleyways of Mdina. The owners of the hotel were very kind and gracious, going above and beyond to provide for a pleasant stay. There was a rooftop with views of the city and a pool. Breakfast was very good as well.
Lovely boutique hotel in heart of Mdina old town. Many lovely bars and restaurants within a short walk.
Spacious and very comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food - breakfast and dinner both excellent. Would certainly stay here again.
Lovely classic terrace property in a fabulous location just inside Mdina city walls. Property agents were friendly, professional and very responsive, provided prompt and clear arrival instructions. Clean and modern interior still retaining classic charm.
Fabulous hotel in wonderful building right in the old city of Mdina. Very comfortable room - especially the bed. Lovely kind attentive staff. Delicious breakfast. Great communal spaces with superb views in every direction right across the island.
Mdina is an ancient citadel, to be located within the walls of the city is a true privilege. The hotel building itself is part of Mdina's cultural heritage; it is historical and retains all of its original features.
I have no complaints whatsoever. I and my partner had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean at all times. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Service was 5 star. 10/10 for sure.
One of the rare hotels in the city center of Mdina. Warm welcome by the owners. And nice stay in the brand new hotel, renovated with a lot of love during the last years.
