room was cute, view fantastic, breakfast lovely (best Roti we had in the whole of Sri Lanka), Staff were lovely. However, there is a bar right next to the property which plays REALLY loud music, until 2/3 am, even if it is empty. it's a real shame, as the owners of the property can't do anything about it, but to be honest it totally ruined our sleep and therefore our stay. If we come back we will stay at the sister property up the hill, and leave this one for the younger crowd!

This is a new building where everything is new and clean. This apartment is nice for longer stays since it has a usable kitchen.
For me it was very important that the bathroom was clean, the AC and fan were working and that there was enough sunlight coming inside the room.
Plus the owner was at our complete disposal, he and his son were very kind and provided us a motorbike and a laundry service.
We came here to surf and Hiriketiya has very nice waves and a lot of surf rentals where you can get your surf boards!
I would recommend this place, enjoy!

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, staff, and service were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fish made in various ways. The stay was made extra special by the attentive and friendly staff and they took every effort to provide us with the best service. Big thanks goes out to all the staff in the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping, and maintenance. We look forward to our next stay with you.

I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs. Venture to any other hotels in the region and skip this hotel. Management was completely unsupportive to any of our needs - we showed up after a long flight to find out our rooms were not available at all and were told to go find another hotel.

Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean, which is always warm as five o'clock tea. Big swing, and a bar on the beach... all you need here is time. Time to relax, time to forget the road trip here, to forget that you have to go back to daily chores, etc. Just swim, sun bathe, sip, repeat!

Dickwella Beach is quite deserted.
Dickwella Beach is quite deserted. There aren't that many places along the beach but made for a nice walk. Hiriketiya Beach however is lovely and there are plenty of places to sit and relax. The restaurants in close proximity to the beach are nice. Especially Hiriketiya Seafood which served the best food we had in Sri Lanka.

I did not have a young family my youngest daughter 25 you could eat at any restaurant all good for older people Tuk tuk easy around local and owner of hotel sorted taxi if going further all very easy and not expensive the safari was the high light for us getting very close to elephants also big Buddha was one off my high lights and short tuk tuk ride from Dickwella Agreat place for mature easy going no high end facilities stunning weather take jungle deet mossi very small and quite only come out 6.30 to 7.30 8pm they seem to like European bodies
Situated in between dikwella and hiriketiya this place was perfect. As the name says, it’s on top of the mountain, so get ready for a climb.
The family who runs the property are incredibly sweet and generous. They are so helpful and caring to all their guests.
The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner was very strong, and my personal favourite, was that the hosts would serve afternoon tea to their guests upon returning from the beach or yoga.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed very warmly by the manager and the staff members and the exceptional service continued throughout our stay at the Dickwella Resort and Spa. The room and the views were exceptional, and the location is fantastic! The food was delicious as well, and there was a great variation of cuisines at the buffet.
Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at the Dickwella Resort and Spa!
The hotel was opened in December, everything is new and clean. We were surprised by a massive and diverse breakfast every single day! It was delicious:)
The staff was very helpful and friendly! They also have a scooter rental and just across the street there is a laundry service:)
On top of that, they had the best WiFi from all hotels that we visited in Sri Lanka.
Perfect location, just 5 min walk distance to Hiriketiya and Dikwella beach. Also close to the restaurants and the main road where you can do shopping. Nice to hang out in in the room with lovely garden. Breakfast is good, we stayed 10 days and everyday fruits and different type of sandwich or roti! Owners are very helpful and kind thank you!

The private beach was so wonderful! Our room was so cozy & our favourite breakfast of the entire trip (the “Frenchie”). The staff were so accommodating & really helpful with local suggestions (including swimming with the turtles)! It was a nice short walk to Dikwella Beach & tons of close by restaurants.
The location is excellent, perfectly located for Hiriketya and Dikwella beaches. Beaches are stunning and fab restaurants very close.
The staff, especially Ramesh were really friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect!! I will go back!!
Dikwella is a vibrant town on a quiet part of the South Coast, but this homestay was my favourite of out trip. Lovely room with A/C and adequate shower. However we were made to feel so so welcome.

Incredible value for money, this was the best homestay we had in Sri Lanka. Very new and clean and the family is amazing, they also brought us many treats during our stay: fresh juice, hoppers, tea and they also offered to do our laundry. Highly recommended!

It was a short and easy walk from a bus stop. And the pricing was wonderful for a private room! Easy to walk to either beach, and close by to some nice restaurants and hotels nearby for drinks and meals.
