The hotel is so beautiful, right at the beach. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
The room were clean and big, we had booked sea view and it was stunning!

The place is just a few steps away from the beach. We just jumped in and had a sea bath whenever we wanted. There was AC and Hot water in our room. Didn't expect that. Really worth the money. Wow! Just the most amazing place, so quiet, beautiful beach, great staff, good food and drinks I did not want to leave. I hadn't realised on booking that my accommodation didn't have air con but wasn't able to change as they were full so they brought me a portable air con unit, although you can sleep with all the windows open as all the windows are covered with mosquito nets. Highly recommended

The town has very little to offer. It’s a noisy, chaotic typical Sri Lankan town. The only redeeming factor was Silent Beach on the Western side of town. We also enjoyed a nice meal at Cactus Lounge.

I liked the size of the city - just right to walk anywhere, plenty of options to buy fresh fruit, fish and good local food. The bus stand was easy to be found. There were always tuk tuk drivers around for when you needed it, but sometimes they were too eager to give you a ride even if you didn't want to. The city always felt safe, even at night.. even for a solo traveling young woman. There was a great food booth near the bus stand selling the best shawarma ever!
There were plenty of beautiful beaches around, but the sea was too stormy. Nearby in Kapuhenwalla is a good turtle conservation project, where you could go see turtles hatch and lay eggs. I am definitely coming back~

Tangalle is really nice but it is far better just 2/3 kilometres up the coast at Marocolyia beach and lagoon.Very peaceful and tranquil.
This where Coconut Island cabanas is.There is also a small lake about 200 meters from the accommodation which is full with wading birds.Flamingos,Sacred and Glossy Ibis etc etc.

Ishara and his wife have a beautiful home surrounded by nature, which is only a five minute walk from a beautiful and secluded beach!
The room was very big and clean, as well as the bathroom. They went above and beyond to help with everything and made an amazing dinner for me, including teaching me how to make it. In the end they even drove me to my next destination. If you are in tangalle, you have to stay here, 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be back !!

One of our best hotels in hole sri lanka. Starting with the friendly and helpfull staff, the beautiful beach area in front of the hotel. Nobody disturbs you and relaxing with kids is absolutely possible. Also the prices in the reataurant are realy fair. There is not a lot around even if you have a car like us. So we extended our stay over for 3 more nights.

The place is perfectly located between the lagoon and the beach. The surroundings are astonishing with a lot of wild animals (sea turtles, monkeys, iguanas, birds). We had a good and clean room with good working AC but the very best of all was the small balcony with Jungle view and a cozy sitting area to watch the birds, stars while listen to the waves from the beach near the hotel. We totally enjoyed our stay here. You definitely have your private space without other guests to enjoy your time.
